  1. Yes, but only when you start the character. The starting planet you get is always pure RNG on the rim of the first galaxy, (there are 255 galaxies, each the size of the real life Milky Way) no matter the difficulty. Don't try permadeath unless you know the intricate details of the game, and don't get attached to anything on that save. The expeditions are well worth it though, since they reward you with account unlocks. (like a starship you can repeatedly reclaim and scrap until you have enough upgrades and money to max out storage/engines/shields/thrusters/etc. on a dozen ships) On topic: Space Engineers. I just finished the tutorial, but my PC is acting wonky so I'm going to wait until after sleep time before I try to do anything serious in it.
  2. Nah... Anyone with monetary sense outsources to China, and makes millions, then lives in a villa in a country that doesn't tax them.
  3. Which is why I said "updated"... Many people don't like it, but I find it just as fun. Only if you're using something like ENB in FONV, and running stock in FO4. (which can also use ENB) Considering that that will take at least another decade or two, and a total conversion mod is likely to take less than a decade, (if TESR is any indication) I would say that is unlikely to actually be true.
  4. I think he means lozenge.
  5. How to make your website look better for people that don't live on the sun. Donovan's Reef
  6. I understand sports perfectly, what I don't understand is betting away your hard earned money to make a sleaze rich whether you win or lose.
  7. Considering the Urban Dictionary definition of the word "based", you are correct. TPBM doesn't understand me.
  8. 3719 - ç
  9. You think?
  10. Silicon-based life forms. They won't remember us though.
  11. Mint is my recommendation for anyone that is used to Windows, especially someone wanting to revert to 7.
  12. Note that when I say a "hell planet", I don't mean "oh it's toxic, or hot", I mean it's an extreme planet. The first one was a resourceless supercritical extreme planet, which meant that without a terrain manipulator, I was dead before I could get to a cave or my ship. Second was similar, except cold with toxic thunderstorms.
  13. The root causes are never the tools used though, so they can't vilify entire markets to manipulate where the profit goes as easily if they target root causes.
  14. Improved visuals, better stability, updated mechanics. I for one would love to rebuild the starting area of FONV.
  15. So, the same guy. Got it.
  16. FONV in FO4 would be the mod to look for, if it was possible.
  17. No Man's Sky It's significantly better now than back when it launched. The Expeditions update made it a game with an actual goal now.
  18. That's because gambling in general is addictive. It's very nature is such that it will drive you so low in despair and expectation that the "high" from winning exceeds that of many extremely addictive drugs. You get addicted to it very easily.
  19. This is the correct interpretation. I've talked about and even promoted piracy before, and gotten direct statements from the mods saying it's not against the rules.
  20. That would be a bit disappointing, but not too bad.
  21. Nice. I hadn't heard about this, and the MT-32 is amazing in Silpheed, so I'm going to start using this for my DOS emulation too.
  22. I agree, but free to play games that have stuff in those "lootboxes" that are completely within the means of obtaining without any money spent, and don't require obscene amounts of gameplay to obtain, are an exception I'm willing to make.
  23. He wouldn't need a new currency, but traditionally independent countries use their own currency, and USD would trade differently in the new country.
