  1. This isn't Europe, it takes a lot more than 10% to win an election here. Included. Also enabled revoting so people can change their minds.
  2. Campbells.
  3. ? (that's as close as I can get)
  4. I think it'll teach them to not be assholes when banning people... If you're banning people just for having a modded item, something's VERY wrong. Just remove the item, like Star Trek Online does automatically.
  5. Torrenting movies for my parents to watch for their anniversary...
  6. Last I checked was before I started working where I had to type all the time, and I was getting 36.6 WPM at that time.
  7. He was listed as an independent last I checked... He may or may not be listed as a Dem on the ballot, and there is a lot of controversy concerning his listing. Helios is correct that I listed him as the closest to his political affiliation as possible, considering the nebulous nature of his listing on the ballot. I only included those candidates that had a snowball's chance in hell of winning.
  8. I would like to see proof of any of those accusations. (except the 'doesn't play by the rules' one, as that's a plus in my book) Clinton, we may know what she'll do, but I absolutely refuse to be a willing participant in any of it.
  9. Please don't discuss anything, just vote. This is a scientific experiment to determine what the demographics of the forums are.
  10. But only in a true vacuum... Which doesn't exist. There is always some external force being exerted, (friction, etc.) which means that in this context it is impossible. I'll make a thread with a poll asking what president people would most want, and not provide anything else... Even asking that nobody discuss the candidates or their positions... I'll bet that with full participation, there will be less than 10% that would vote for Trump, and he's the only candidate that isn't on the left. (and very obviously so)
  11. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Just checking to see if it's worth buying, and it is.
  12. There are mods out there that limit stacking... Take your pick of no stacking, 2 units per tile, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, or unlimited... Modern Civ doesn't even have code allowing the possibility of stacking, should you want it. (I personally always played with 6 per-tile, as it made the most sense, and never resulted in battles longer than 20 seconds) BTW, most of these mods are available by default in FreeCiv. (free open source version of Civ 2 for modern systems) Do give it a try, as there is absolutely no risk involved. And there is such a thing as 'not enough quantity to justify the perceived quality'. It took the designer of those mods over a decade to make them the highest quality, and best balanced they could be. (and he succeeded) Personal insults for no other reason than to make yourself look bad.
  13. Borderlands.
  14. Chatting with someone on Steam about rocketry.
  15. Facepalm.
  16. Ok... If you're perfect now, then give me the spare $100 million dollars you have in your pockets... lol
  17. I don't like being around people for any length of time unless I know them, (unfortunately, this prevents me from getting to know people unless I'm forced into it, like at work) and I don't question my own decisions... I'm not in the slightest surprised about those results. Scoring 100% on feeling means you really need to work on thinking through your actions, not just going on what your feelings are. (middle of the road is the 'ideal' as far as the world is concerned) That said, don't stop feeling!
  18. Or, they just find more evidence supporting it, with less people throwing insults and blind hatred from that side. There are a LOT of really smart, and very well educated people that support those beliefs, so don't go knocking them without having incontrovertible proof that they are impossible.
  19. https://www.16personalities.com/profiles/574ff7c20001d I'm still INTP that is very close to an INFP...
  20. The interesting thing is, I know my IQ... I've had it tested recently, and I am currently sitting around 160. This officially classes me as 'very superior' or 'genius'. This puts me in the top 0.1% of the world's population for IQ test results. I can tell you right now, this only means that I have a MUCH harder time doing anything with people that don't either have a remarkably high intelligence, or at least understand that my statements about knowing something aren't intended as an insult. Most people refuse to accept the fact that there are people that know more than they do, and when their knowledge or logic is questioned, they become aggressive. (as if you were physically threatening their life by asking why they think X political figure is a better choice when Y candidate fits their own ideals much closer) Unfortunately, the mitigation of those attitudes only tends to be a commonality among those of the higher ranks of intelligence, but not a guarantee. (yes, even smart people can get offended when you ask them to convince you) Normal people aren't stupid, they just don't have certain mental attributes that 'smarter' people have. I know a man who just can't grasp the concept that perpetual motion is impossible, but he could make a killing as a businessman. (I am the opposite, perpetual motion never made even the slightest sense to me, even before I entered preschool, but I couldn't make a buck to save my life) Intelligence has almost never equated to success or fortunes, and usually results in ridicule and failure. (see: Nikola Tesla) I implore all on this forum to not take insult at anything I'm saying here, none of it is intended as such. I know it isn't very well communicating what I'm trying to convey, but it's late, I'm tired, I'm a tad tipsy, and I don't have the time to go back and reword at this time. Please feel free to question anything herein, just don't take offense at it when you do.
  21. And knowledge alone is a poor substitution for intuition. You imply otherwise with the wording of your statement; both are required. Wisdom comes when you have a balance of both, the knowledge and the intuition to apply it properly. The biggest problem isn't that others aren't as 'smart', the problem is that they usually refuse to even attempt to communicate on any terms other than their own. (this is particularly frustrating for me, as I rarely put any emotion into my communication, and it is almost always taken as an insult)
  22. Harmful.
  23. Procrastination.
