  1. Felt like doubleposting because reasons... I just finished rebuilding the left-click Omron switch in my G700 because I was getting pissed at the double clicking, and inability to drag anything. (frustration-turned-rage is the primary motivation behind all my mechanical repairs of electronics) After breaking (but not destroying) 2 of the components of the 4 component switch, it's clicking like it did when it was brand new. Now to go through some old mice, and find some replacement components for the switch for when it needs to be repaired next.
  2. Sleepless.
  3. Millenia.
  4. Just assume I'm listening to something from this band until further notice... http://narniatheband.com/
  5. Wow... The sun's out again already...
  6. Still writing down my game design... The mechanics involved are a bit more realistic than the standard D&D fare, and the HP pool base value is going to be 100. Weapons do a static damage value, and damage is locational. Different wound depths determine various different negative effects and HP decreases, and almost all wounds that aren't "superficial" or "light" require bandaging to prevent bleeding out. (bleed out doesn't have any negative effects for 10 turns, then you lose 50% of all stats, 2 turns later you faint, 8 turns later you die) All weapons are custom and random based on categories, so you can have any weapon you want within certain stats ranges, and it might even be significantly better than you're trying for. Weapons that use a sharp edge do require sharpening periodically, and all metal weapons require cleaning/polishing to prevent oxidation. (occurs automatically if you have the supplies with you, or if you're in a town with facilities) I plan on making a character creator/manager program for the PC and possibly Android before releasing the game, but I need to get the basics written down first.
  7. Stronghold Legends... You can't see a damned thing when the bloom is on. Fairly fun, but not really my ideal.
  8. N_R_kPfcGeE And you thought Christian music couldn't be metal...
  9. Why would I get actual money for games I got years ago for free by doing something that a few thousand others were doing to try and download games they didn't have, except I did it after they had patched it? I would think it would be more likely that they would ban my account.
  10. Haven't played it yet, but I know it's not even close to what I'm wanting... Think Civilization technology research for each unit and building type, and full customization of different aspects of each. (like choosing between chainmail and leather armor for your archers, or smooth vs rough facing on the walls, or metal plated doors vs normal wood vs oak vs solid metal, etc.) The customizations all have different properties, costs, research requirements, and produce different visuals on the units/buildings altered. (and the options include some uniques for each of the dozens of factions) I also like the way Starcraft 2 has the 'choose what major unit alteration you want' available that encompasses all of each unit type, and changes their base design to something else. (that would be a good addition, some customizations to the base unit design outside of combat, and a lot more that just upgrade the base design in combat) I just plain want a true RTS that gives more than a few dozen options per faction. (the best I've seen is C&C Generals with mods, and that maxes out at 8/9 upgrades/abilities per building/unit unless you're menu-stacking, totals only around 120 upgrades when I got done modding it and that's considered really high by the RTS community)
  11. Tell him that, and ask him what he thinks. Most men will take it well, and you'll find out if it's going to push him away or not. (but beware, just in case he ends up being one of those that's trying to manipulate you)
  12. The bullets don't throw themselves at people... The bullets aren't the cause.
  13. Decades.
  14. LEGO City: Undercover + Brütal Legend = LEGO Legend Metal bricks compose this world, and you police them.
  15. Cleaning.
  16. A subgenre of metal makes a metal album entitled Eliminate Your Enemies... This is metal. I want this album!

  18. 2685 - Turns out the riots are staged, the governments blame terrorism, the scientists blame idiots, the idiots blame governments. The media averages and says it's government funded idiot terrorists.
  19. Makes sense considering the fanbase...
  20. Just had some Wild Mike's pizza, and a glass of Cherry Dr.Pepper.
  21. Building a unique tabletop RPG based off a universe I came up with a few years back. One of the more common enemies is a "Himeorct". (High-me-orc-t: looks kinda like an Orc from D&D, but functions like an animal similar to a gorilla) A much rarer animal is the Forge Serpent. (a 'magically' created snake species whose only differences from a normal garden snake is that its body temp is 900°f, it likes living among coals in a stone depression, and it eats soot) I already have the general mechanics designed for it. (there are two versions of the mechanics, one is complex for greater precision, the other is simpler for easier adaption from D&D players to the new universe) I'll be posting a full description of the game later, and asking for help naming things or making short stories for inclusion in the 'flavor panels'.
  22. I have no idea... All I know is that it wasn't cloudy.
  23. The beauty of torrenting... [LINK REMOVED] Actually, the games I was going to suggest were: Tropico series, ending at 4. (not all that obscure unless you go back to the original) FreeCiv. http://www.freeciv.org/ https://play.freeciv.org/ Demigod. Age of Mythology. (slightly obscure, was seriously overshadowed by Age of Empires 2) Maelstrom. http://store.steampowered.com/app/11560/ Darwinia/Multiwinia. And there was one more, but I seem to have forgotten the title...
  24. Insurgency... Interestingly I never paid for this, despite having it in my Steam games list. It was actually as a result of a test of a local file hack, and Steam decided to leave a couple games attached to my account after it connected online. (only 3 games total, but I got Insurgency from this back when it was still $20)
  25. The only medieval fantasy setting, in a non-tabletop environment, that I would enjoy now (considering its level of overuse at this time) would be "Stronghold with more stuff". (like numerous unit/building upgrades, customizable units, etc.)
