I'm a bit of a wannabe, I don't know where I'm at, where I'm going, and wish I could be as nerdy as most of you (lol). Meaning that I wish I knew more about computers, and I am bogged down with stuff in my house so don't have a lot of excitement in my life. I guess I'm an o.k guy, I have quite a bit of friends, but it's not the life I wish I had. I like how you guys can make stuff like that awesome photoshop'd nuke sunglasses thing, and then you get to show it off. With me, it's just us doing random, stupid, stuff that seems funny. It's not even outside, we do that stuff in school, then I come home for the rest of the day and shoot zombies on Five with a bunch of morons. It's always a new bunch of morons too, everybody on PS3 playing Nazi Zombies on Five is a LEMMING! Anyway, I love Killzone, it is the game that introduced me to the gaming world and it is also the greatest game ever. Found Freeman's Mind through a stroke of luck when I searched for "Free man" on youtube. I accidentally didn't put a space and added an "s", then clicked episode 4, and god almighty did I laugh.

Lol, I saw the name "Nomogoodnames" in a MP flash game once, and I've stolen it and used it ever since out of the lack of creativity that I have. As you can see it means "No more good names" and so I use this name whenever I can. It also gives me the nickname "Nom". I taste delicious.

There's another guy named Ross Scott, he makes these awesome videos where he's doing a monologue of the game half-life. It's called "Freeman's Mind" You should check it out.

I agree, it's wrong, but you don't know math. It's not a specific and tailored way of adding. Anyway you add it, day/month/year or month/day/year or year/day/month, it's the same. AWESOME! I already knew about Freddiew, he does tons of other cool videos, not very similar to this, but use video editing and are really funny. He made a MW2 spoof that's really good, and he also has a skydiving episode, he gets a watermelon shot off his head by a sniper (not edited) and he is the Guitar Hero/Guitar God.

That's quite a strange reason to hate us, a lot of us are just overwhelmed by the publicity, and we don't know how to handle it, and we made our series because we just love Freeman's Mind and wanted to take a crack at a mind series ourselves while paying tribute to Ross' series. Is that really so horrible? It really seems that we get a lot of unnecessary hate for doing these videos. And besides, a lot of us did this to get into voice acting (myself not included), so we're not as good as Ross. Perhaps I could have worded that better, not exactly "sucking" but not being as good. I find myself unable to ever really deviate my appreciation from an original, because the others always lack the spark of creativity that really did cause it to be such a phenomenon. It's the same with those "Tha Cliff" animations on youtube. I loved the first one, and the others took that idea but didn't capture the same flair that it has. The first time is usually the best time, and it's hard to set a new standard. I meant what I said however. Voice acting is important, but it's not that difficult on the scale I'm thinking about. I mean that you shouldn't be worried about the publicity and all, and should add more emotion to what you do. Take Chell's Mind. It's not awful, just like the others, but when Chell went into the infinite loophole with the portals, she didn't seem to freak out or have emotion, she just seemed to get nervous. What would you do if you were free falling in a space that's actually only a few feet high? I'm not gonna lie though, I've always wanted to make a Mind series too.

Yeah. The title pretty much says it all, can you describe how Freeman's Mind is better than every other mind in your own way? We all should know it's the best, no doubt, but discuss it. Which other Mind series is 2nd best, and do you prefer them to the other ones? For me, it's pretty much just the way they act. I should name this "Compliment Ross" because that's pretty much what we'd do. O.k, Freeman's Mind has amazing acting, like Hollywood style, but better. He has natural reactions, tones, and ideas. Well, natural reactions and tones. The sound quality and jokes are great, amazing, fantasticalsuperawesomeepicness. The other minds just don't compare. My second favorite is Barney's Mind, because it is rather funny, especially the first episode, where he tied in Freeman's Mind, because he was supposedly the guy who Freeman yelled "Suckerrrr!!!!" at.

We don't have to stop killing animals completely. We need to kill them more MORALLY and without such a massive SCALE. We don't keep their populations "in check", we make them dwindle into endangerment, or we give them chemicals to make them grow and reproduce even FASTER. Meanwhile, our population is growing in massive amounts in small areas. England is just a mess in some cities, as well as USA and Asian Cities. You don't see hordes of animals as big as us anywhere on Earth, in fact, if we kept killing all these animals keeping them miniscule, do you realize what would happen with the food chain? Other populations of animals would grow even more! If you keep killing all an animals natural predators, then that animal will grow out of control.

Do you happen to have signed up and read any of it? Just curious. I read several reviews of it, and they all claim that he has no solid evidence, very bad conclusions, and overall very misinformative.

If you want to see a really good solution, see this game's storyline. It seems rather realistic and has another crazy plan that we can stupidly attempt to follow, or not.

I merely skimmed your post, as I am feeling a little lazy, and oil is not my key "subject" in the boiling cauldron we call Earth. However, I read in detail around your first 2 paragraphs, and agree that a reduction in population is very important if we are to move anywhere. Not a "mass-murder", but perhaps following the lead of China, because the one-child policy has done arguably well for them over the years. I don't see how any problems will ever fade if we keep on multiplying the population.

"That's how the world works" doesn't cut it here. If you go on every topic here and say "that's how the world works" it still won't cut it. This isn't a forum for trying to change everything. It's a topic for discussing ways to change everything, or at least discussing what is wrong. Of course we have oil problems Ross, but that's the way the world works. If we discuss things, we can make an influence in a small group of people, possibly, but you can't go on a forum for discussing Civilization's issues with the idea in mind of "That's how the world works". Sorry for being blunt, but it's true.
