I believe they've already shown that they can create an energy-carrying "beam" of microwaves at a strength that won't harm humans. For safety and signal loss's sake, though, I'd expect them to build the recievers in fairly barren areas, like the Mojave. On the other hand, being dual-use technology, it could be a great weapon. Imagine being able to cook Al-quaeda from orbit as they sit in their caves. Toasty Terrorist. Haha, they'd be OWNED. But again if the Al-quaeda hacked the satellite,we would be doomed (well not me since i think Al-quaeda dont care about South America)

So,have anyone heard of this mod called "Black Mesa" it was a very promising mod,the idea was to migrate HL1 into HL2 Source Engine,but since 2009 they have been delaying it almost as much as Valve,plus they closed the forum of their Official Site,apparently because of trolls and people asking them to rush,lots of people think the project is dead,even through there are some updates,since it is a free and awesome mod some people still waiting for it.It will be awesome if they finish it before valve finishes HL2:episode3,since it will have a new engine and will make Black Mesa look a little lame : P. It is a little overwhelming,but in the end you just need some practice,about the new weapons,they are just a bit tricky,if you play at least 1 time with every class you see that most weapons just changed class BTW still some of the best weapons are the original ones

Its like comparing a satellite with a calculator i mean cmon,you can beat the whole Episode 1 firing only 1 bullet (to unlock a door,rockets dont count) and the game is really easy (since 99% of the game alyx is babysitting you)it also had some cool stuff but i think Episode 2 wins

Try KOS, it's a free online FPS. Or if you're going to pay for something, get Battlefield: Bad Company 2. (there are fewer cheaters in it than most other multiplayer FPS's, including TF2) I sense someone got pwned multiple times on most FPS (dont get pissed with cheats,just enjoy the ride or leave the server,dont blame the game itself)

I don't use glitches, and as far as I can tell, bunny hopping slows you down now. Not sure about BH nowadays,i will check it later,but anyway , if you have any hope of beating HL2 in 50 minutes without glitches and a working BH then i got to ask:Have you ever played HL2? Since when CSS have story? The gameplay demands some skills (it takes time to get those),about the graphics,instead of making another almost realistic FPS (which we already have plenty)they decided to be original and make a more cartoonish game,isntead of making a game exactly like battlefield

Dream on Of course I can't do those. If I could, I'd have my own vid on there... However, if you take out the scenes where there is nothing to do, load times, and the few cutscenes, I can do it with a total of 45-50 min playtime. actually they cut load times;the few scenes where there is nothing to do (like black mesa east,kleiner lab,dr.breen lame threats,etc)they speed them up by glitching the NPCs and making they teleport,all this scenes together wouldnt consume more than half an hour so you still would have to beat the whole game in 1h and 20 minutes .(That would demand insane BH skills and deep knowledge about Source glitchs) BTW the fastest speedrun for HL1 is 29 minutes.
