Here's my entry (it's about a year old or so) :3 I can't get it, why most of people can't write well his name... Neither can I, I get sad when I see his named spelled his name as Gordan, Gorden, or Goden.

That was just an April Fools' day joke. Corky is a really awesome guy, he just has a pretty hard life at the moment which makes him act like a dick to some of his fans, but when he's in a good mood, he's really fun to be around. Also, thanks for standing up for me, +rep.

Indeed. I would definitely call it a sport of sorts. That is exactly how I see it. I cannot simply play HL2 regularly anymore, with speedrunning, you're constantly trying to find new ways to improve upon yourself, and I love doing it, it adds a whole new level of replayability to a game I've played thousands of times, not only that, but playing games at such speed is so much fun. We're sometimes considered the athle(e)tes of the gaming world.

It's not all too hard, it's called ABH (Advanced Back Hop) There's tons of tutorials on how to do it on youtube.

Yeah, that's a pretty good site, it's a shame they don't allow runs that use marcos anymore.

I know playing games as fast as possible isn't everyone's cup of tea, but many, myself included, have taken an interest in this art, or at least what I consider an art. Many people who create these videos put a lot of time and effort into breaking world records and providing entertainment by completely blowing people's minds. Some of my favorite speedruns are: (35:31) (9:25) (1:36:57)I would say the Half-Life speedrun, but there's a new one in progress that'll be 25 minutes. Do you have any speedruns you enjoy watching?

Would every Let's Play video be considered a rip off of what slowbeef started at the Something Awful forums? Maybe back then, but not by today's standards. I do hope a Mind series will cease to be considered a rip-off as so many people will have done one eventually. I've even started counting how many Mind series I could find on youtube, so far, I'm up to 238. Doing a Mind series is not only a great way to get your foot in the machinima making world, but it's also a great way to get into voice acting, just look at Corky from Felix's Mind, back when he started, he was a mediocre voice actor, now he's pretty good.

That's quite a strange reason to hate us, a lot of us are just overwhelmed by the publicity, and we don't know how to handle it, and we made our series because we just love Freeman's Mind and wanted to take a crack at a mind series ourselves while paying tribute to Ross' series. Is that really so horrible? It really seems that we get a lot of unnecessary hate for doing these videos. And besides, a lot of us did this to get into voice acting (myself not included), so we're not as good as Ross.

Those other Mind series makers sure are crazy
