Makes me laugh to think of everyone in HL2 worshiping Freeman just because of something he said while on morphine.

The explanation for those was already given. They had to pad out their costs so that they spent a billion dollars the one year, that way they'd get a billion dollars the next year. Otherwise they'd have spend more money on lobbyists to get their billion dollars the year after that. And that would mean they'd have to compete with other lobbyists. And nobody wants that, they could get into a bidding war. You laugh at it, but it's a lot fasterand cheaper, to just build a giant nutcracker room, write it off, and be done with it. I wrote that before looking it up ( ) and find it impressive how well I remembered it. Yes, but this also explains what they show the people giving them the money. They might spend it on the Nutcracker Room, but I doubt they'd show that to the people funding it. Unlike the armed missiles, the Nutcracker Room is not part of the tour.

Borderlands 2. So. Many. Guns.

This was pretty freakin' great. The ending was the best ending in a while! Loved how he "proved" the portals were holograms. Also like that this explains how Black Mesa got funding for the Crate Smashing Room and the Nut Cracking Room.

Borderlands 2. Got cautiously excited for the Vita version, multiple reviews said it was buggy mess, resumed playing PS3 version. Although this go-round I'm using the DualShock4 because after using it so much the DualShock3 just feels awful. I always knew the DS3 wasn't the best controller, but now that I've gotten used to the much nicer DS4, I can barely stand it. Though for some reason the PS Button doesn't work. Not a huge issue as everything for actually playing and controlling the game works fine, but it's just odd.

Except it is quite literally a pony-person, which is somewhat disconcerting. OT: 8/10, Fallout dude in HEV suit just works.
-
He does look a bit Naziish, but it's actually the Luftrausers pilot. Fantastic little game, that. OT: 5/10 - +8 for good size/color/opacity, aside from the arms blending in with the torso. -3 for vaguely unsettling anthropomorphized pony.

And 58 And 59 And 60 And Ouch! How about using links to Ross's Accursed Farms, instead of the malicious Machinima.com's channel? Good catch, it has now been fixed!

And 58 And 59 And 60 And EDIT: Post now exorcized of demons.

I have genuinely no idea if you're being sarcastic or not, but you're welcome either way

It's just predictions or suggestions for what you think will/should be in it, like how you think Freeman would react to what happens in HL2. Mostly just for laughs. ie: G-man: "You've done a great deal in a small time span. You've done so well, in fact, that I've received some interesting offers for your services." Freeman: "Woah, woah, woah. No. I don't give a damn if you can bend spacetime to your will, I'm not some two-cent whore for you to just pimp out to your space-buddies."

So much for being the One Free Man. Gordon Stuckinagunshipman doesn't sound as good.

Killzone Shadowfall multiplayer. Shot a guy like twenty times in the face and he didn't die, walked up and stabbed him several more times and he didn't die (He was just standing there as it went through the brutal stab animation that indicates a one-hit-kill, then stood back up as soon as it finished), then I was kicked due to connectivity issues. Not sure if it was just a weird issue with my internet being shit or if thar be hackers in these here waters. But aside from that load of old bollocks it's quite good multiplayer with all the different custom modes and all.

Right, I'd be pretty disappointed if he just said "Nope, not doing HL2". However, I wouldn't blame him for taking a break from it for however long it took to do some of the movie or other ideas he has in store.

Mercenary Kings. I'm having a lot of fun with this game, despite a few niggles. It occasionally freezes briefly for a moment at seemingly random times. It's seems to be semi-rare, but when it happens it can mess up your game as a lot of it is dependent on timing. (Dodging bullets, shooting while jumping, active reload, etc.) I really hope they fix this soon. There also seems to be a bit of repetition in the missions, but it's counterbalanced somewhat by the variety of gun parts. It's really fun to experiment with different combinations of weapons and they genuinely change the way you can approach things.

2020 - Technology advances enough to give everyone perfect vision.

Huh, never knew that. Maybe this would work better as a back-handed comment aimed at one of those douche bags that buys balls for their truck?

Sounds like a greeting card you'd give a post-op F to M transsexual. Hallmark, get on that shit.

2012 - The Apocalypse happened and the world ended in flames. A few genius engineers were able to create a Matrix-like VR machine that slows human perception of time to allow us to live the last few moments as though we were having full lives, but could sadly do nothing to actually prevent our demise.

-1/10 because why does that baby looks like it wants to eat my soul

Mercenary Kings. Has a very Metal Slug feel to the gameplay and some of the looks, but it's got a more free-form mission structure as well as weapon customization and crafting that I really like. Didn't care for it at first as it was a bit frustrating since I wasn't used to the more old-school gameplay, but it's really growing on me. It combines a lot of newer ideas with older ones in a cool way. Looking forward to the Vita release as well, as this seems like it would be a good fit for the system. I know it will have cross-buy with the PS4 version, but I'm hoping it has cross-save and cross-play as well. I don't want to lose my progress and as fun as the local co-op is, the fact that it makes the screen 1/4th the size even for only two players is annoying.
