I'm upset at the lack of commenting on weapons training. Even though he couldn't have received actual weapons training in the "Freeman's Mind" storyline, he is unconscious and I personally think you could do up to that point, have him comment on how it makes absolutely no sense, and then realize it was a dream. Good episode, but in need of 0.5!

It really wouldn't be very difficult to have Freeman reject the offer and, instead of being teleported to the room with lifeless alien grunts, be "teleported" back into the office complex or another map, which Ross could easily populate with a variety of enemies prior to recording. Good 'ol npc_create monster_(npc name here)! And let's not forget notarget, so they don't chase you down and kill you before the recording starts!

In questionable ethics, they have aliens in cages and crap. They obviously knew about the aliens before hand. Now, how they explained the weapons training to the employees is a different story. "When are we going to use guns? We're physicists!" "Uhh... You could try fishing with it."

Why is this episode a milestone in the game? I kinda don't get it, maybe I'm too stupid to see it. Because Freeman is knocked unconscious and captured by the soldiers. Who, consistent in their idiocy, decide on a really ineffective way of killing freeman.

Although I voted Yes, I really think he should find someone else who can pay him and give him publicity without their heads up their asses. Or maybe his videos can be the next thing Black Mesa spends it's free billion dollars a year on.

You have a point about taking longer on a pilot and the "Freeman's Mind" Set Up, but we don't know for sure that it's NOT the medieval thing. Maybe Freeman freezes and wakes up during the HL2 time period. It could be just about anything!
