  2. I'm pretty sure the creator of Shepard's Mind asked Ross about that in a podcast to which Ross replied "maybe". I'll be super disappointed if he doesn't, though. EDIT: Not sure exactly what time in the video he said that, since it's nearly 2 hours long, but if you wanna look, knock yourself out. EDIT AGAIN: I remember that actually, I couldn't quite remember what the podcast was called though
  3. A Maze Ball On topic, Terraria. I recently crafted a grappling hook, and it is easily my favorite means of traversal thus far. Also it has the wonderful Just Cause 2 exploit of somehow protecting from long falls by firing it into the ground to speed towards the ground faster. Because fuck physics, I have a grappling hook!
  4. I'm still wanting to see if Ross adds the "Get back here, you big orange fuck!" from Shephard's mind.
  5. Left 4 Dead 2: Episode 1? Left 4 Dead: Global Offensive? Left 4 Life: Black Mesa? And I can't wait for Ricochet 2, it's gonna be amazeballs. On topic, Terraria for the Vita. "Gee, I've been playing for a while now, it must be like midnight or something." *looks at clock* *2:00am* "Huh."
  6. Got it downloaded but now when I import it into 3Ds MAX it does a bad. Specifically it looks like it got balled up and then run over by a steamroller. I was just importing the .obj files. Is there some other step I'm missing?
  7. Got it. Stay grounded and if you don't screw right, you're only screwing yourself.
  8. It irks me how much he rags on the developers when most of the problems were his own fault. Him learning this : Would have saved everyone lots of this:
  9. Thanks! Actually after more research I'm considering actually assembling one myself. Especially since it turns out I might actually have access to an old desktop to practice on. I figure if I can take that apart and put it back together and have it still work I should be good to go.
  10. Left 4 Dead 2. Can't wait for Left 5 Dead 3, I'm interested to see what Valve will do for that.
  11. Well I was at least going to look into how difficult it would be to put it in Source, but the files aren't downloading properly. Not sure if it's an issue with filedropper or my internet.
  12. Test-Life 3 Confirmed? Actually if anyone's going to port this to Source I think an L4D2 or CS:GO map could be interesting. Hell, I might even look into doing it myself it if it's not too tricky.
  13. Spoiler tags ,for f**k's sake dude, spoiler tags. Giant pictures make the page go all wonky. That being said, that's some mighty fine work and very cool to see, so kudos!
  14. Dishonored. Already had this for PS3, but I picked up the GOTY during the steam sale. Worth it for the DLC and mouse controls.
  15. Viscera Clean-up Detail: Shadow Warrior.
  16. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. More watching than playing, because it was the first time I ever played CS. It's fun though, it's a lot more tense and strategy oriented than a lot of other FPS games I've played.
  17. Thanks! Unfortunately it seems CyberPower is a mixed bag. Some people seem to think it's the best thing since sliced bread and other people think it's the worst thing since Hitler. I also found this one from Newegg. I've heard Newegg is pretty good, but if you have any personal experience with them or Asus computers that would be helpful. I'll keep doing research in the meanwhile
  18. With the next generation of consoles screwing more customers than a whore house on coupon day I've decided that my next system should be a PC. Right now all I have is a wee little laptop that does its damnedest, but seems like it's going to combust whenever I try to run any modern games at decent graphical settings meaning I get smooth, mediocre looking games or a very pretty slideshow. The main problem I have is that I know sweet FA when it comes to hardware and I'm not exactly loaded. I've already decided I don't want to build it myself, because apparently it's possible to fuck up components by touching them, and I'd rather pay someone competent to assemble it than risk botching it myself. Right now I'm looking at Computer #1, NCIX and Computer #2, Cyberpower both of which have components with many numbers and letters that I'm sure are important to smart people who know about these things. So my questions are as follows 1.Which of these two is the better computer and the better deal? 2.Are these specs good enough to run modern games (ie; Assassin's Creed IV, Max Payne 3, etc.) at high settings at about 60FPS? (I don't know what resolution yet, as I have no monitor either) 3.Is there anywhere I can get a better deal, keeping in mind I don't want to assemble it myself and don't really want to pay over $900? Hell, even the Cyberpower one is a bit of a splurge for me. 4.Do you feel honored that I came to you for help, or do you think I'm a lazy git for not researching this more myself? 5.Are the sites I linked to reputable enough to give my credit card information to without fear of it being sold to Korean gangsters? If you just have suggestions of optimising one of the setups I've already chosen for a better price/performance balance that would also me appreciated. If you need more information that I left out let me know. I figured since a lot of Accursed Farmers are PC gamers this would be a good place to ask for help, and I appreciate any given. Also, if there is a specific thread for asking for help for this sort of thing, I would be much obliged if moderators could point me in that direction, thanks!
  19. And a picture of an alien grunt on a pole. This was quite a good episode. Get better soon Ross! I imagine an FM episode done entirely while sick would probably result in Freeman sounding like that vortigaunt from the Aliens episode of CP.
  20. One thing I don't fully understand is why everyone* is gushing over how awesome it is that VALVe let them sell it. Don't get me wrong, it is pretty cool of VALVe to let someone else profit off of their IP, but VALVe still stands make some dough off of this so it's not like it's charity. Between the engine license and the royalties for selling it on Steam VALVe would be stupid not to let them sell. So it's kind of a win-win for the Black Mesa devs and VALVe. *"everyone" in this case is just a couple of people over at the Black Mesa forums. Also I will absolutely throw money at this game. Hopefully that will help Xen be built better and faster and with less horrible jumping puzzles.
  21. Guacamelee. A bit too much of the humor comes from referencing internet memes, but that aside it's a beautiful platformer.
  22. 1847 The year the Doctor glued the world back together with wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey... stuff.
  23. 1845 The year after DeWolfeJV accidentally changed something which changed something which changed something important.
