  1. Punchable/10. He really looks like he knows something I don't. Like "Oh, man, if you knew what was over there..." followed by some smug chuckling.
  2. Psychonauts. I wish more games were this clever.
  3. Hotline Miami. Only have 1 more trophy to go, and it's a doozy. Get A Life: Get A+ on every chapter. Also brings up a few things I hope they've fixed for Hotline Miami 2. 1. Needs more clearly defined A+ requirements, even after some googling I'm not sure what scores I need to constitute an A+. 2.Chapter Select and Continue should be separate things. Sometimes I will beat a level and it will not be A+ and I want to start again so I have to quit to the main menu and go to chapter select. No too annoying since it loads quickly, but still. That being said, kudos for them for making a game that's fun enough where I want to A+ the levels anyway. And you should go buy it because it's amazing.

  5. 1851 Everyone woke up from that badass date in a tub of ice with their kidneys missing.

  7. Both of which are the result of me being too lazy to edit it properly. So 8/10 for you since you edited yours properly. Or, failing that, at least found a properly edited one. And I already rated Twilight's and even though I still don't understand the MLP craze, I'll give a 9/10 to Collective Foal since it's nicely detailed and, to use the proper artistic terminology, pwetty. Although I must admit I am slightly disappointed by the lack of cool-looking birds and mer-ponies.
  8. I don't know a number score, but for some reason I find Animal Crossing vaguely unsettling. Although in all honesty that's probably mostly because of entry number 4 on this list.
  9. 8/10 because it reminds me of those wavy arm inflatables you see outside car dealerships and mattress stores.
  10. Race the Sun. Currently stuck on the goal of "Only move left through 2 regions in 1 run." which is a bit tricky.
  11. That would be Junior Constable Cactus of the Genki Star from the very good but as yet unfinished game Assault Android Cactus. And a 9/10 for misses_bull because I like my fiction with extra pulp.
  12. Bugbear's next car game, which is in fact just called Next Car Game. Very bland name, but the game is impressive (at least what's there, as this is still a very early build) and the destruction derby is absolutely beautiful idiocy. There is no way the cars would be even remotely able to function if they were that crunched IRL if only because the driver would have long since been paste. Near the final parts of a derby round the only way to distinguish between survivors and wrecked cars is if they're moving. And not only is the car destruction cranked up to wonderfully insane levels, the environment destruction is great as well. So many racing games just have you bounce off of the concrete blocks around the tracks, but in this they crumble if you hit them hard enough. Hopefully there are plans to make the power-line poles destructible because it was a little jarring to break through a concrete pillar and then come across the telephone pole from Krypton.
  13. 8.5/10 Not really understanding anything that's happening there, but it looks pretty neat.
  14. Assault Android Cactus. Bizzare name, amazing game. For those wondering, it is titled that because one of the characters you can play as is an Assault Android named Cactus. It is a bullet-hell twin stick shooter type game with some great level and art designs. The boss fights (at least the two that are in the early-access build thus far) are a blast. And the levels will often change in some way or another during the course of the battle, sometimes actually collapsing and rebuilding around you. I will definitely buy this again once it's on vita.
  15. Brothers In Arms: Highway to Hell. Not too shabby, but some things are a bit off. First of all the low FOV and the head-bob are annoying and second it is a bit odd how it changes to third-person whenever you go into cover. I do quite like the squad command though, it's not super deep or complicated but it does prevent it from being just another WWII shooter. I also like that it has a danger indicator rather than regenerative health. It functions almost the same as a mechanic, but it makes more sense than magically healing wounds. All-in-all worth the $10.
  16. ???/10 Totally thought it was a mer-pony at first and even though I now see that it's a regular MLP pony I cannot entirely unsee the mer-pony.

  18. Resistance 3. Completely different game with the Move and pretty fun once you get the damned thing calibrated right and set up the proper deadzone (tall and skinny works best). Plus it's given me a reason to actually bother to play Resistance 3 again, so that's always nice. I had forgotten how much fun the weapons are in that game.
  19. On the subject of good guy devs/publishers Devolver Digital is a wonderful company. They have sales and giveaways on the regular and even promote good games that are completely unaffiliated with them. You should follow them on Twitter, and that's not something I say often.
  20. Any company that puts microtransactions in any game and sacrifices quality to make the microtransactions sell better is... well maybe not "evil" in the strictest sense, but definitely a neglectful bag of dicks that screws more customers than a brothel during fleet week.
  21. Just got a PS Move which I hope to try out soon once it's done charging. Mostly got it for that Portal 2 DLC, but I just saw that I can use the Nav Controller + mouse combo to play PC games, so I may keep it longer than I thought. Although I'm certainly glad I got the lot for around $30 rather than the $100 it was when it first came out.
  22. I'm pretty sure they changed their name to Evil Assholes a while ago and just didn't tell anyone.
  23. Next Car Game. Very bland title for such an interesting game with a very well built engine. Even just the tech demo of the alpha is super fun with just mind-bogglingly good destruction.
  24. Overgrowth. Buggy as all get-out as can be expected with alpha versions, but it's the best rabbit fighting game I've ever seen [insert your own "Bugs Bunny" pun here]. I love the way damage is actually affected by weight and momentum, it really gives a sense of force and physically you don't see in a lot of games. Also the various editing tools and ragdoll buttons are just stupid fun to mess around with, I hope they keep a mode with those in them in the final version.
  25. I linked to it you silly-ass. Hence why I said "couldn't" as in "could not" instead of "can't" as in "can not". Past tense, mate. It makes the English language a lot more versatile. Albeit my syntax perhaps wasn't as neat as it could've been.
