In both Opposing Force and Blue Shift there is an entirely new alien species, some of them wielding entirely new weapons as well. They are not the same species as the ones from Xen, though it is likely they are controlled by the same brain thingy (can't for the life of me remember its name). Umm, fyi Xen is called a 'Crossroads' of the universe and that NONE of the species there are native to it, so yes those aliens are from Xen. Edit: Or none of them are PS: Still doesn't change the fact that Valve owns all 3 expansions.

Doesn't matter whether Gearbox came up with the stuff or not, Valve owns it you know copy-write laws and what not. And what Species X are you talking about?

My point was that that Valve owns HL and that for Alyxx's statement to be true Gearbox would have to own it.

Quite wrong as for that to be true Gearbox would have to also be the owners of the HL. And Valve has already used Barney. that's pretty much what i was saying... Wrong because Barney(from an expansion) is in HL2 so they are canon.

This pretty much agrees with what the sound says. :\ Ya agreed. It supports that GLaDOS is Caroline or well Spudos as the big body appears to have some sort of other programming as it affected wheatley as well as GLaDOS/Spudos/Caroline.

Doesn't say 'deleted' says 'delete' but it is a fair point on the captions, so its a question of if its an editing error or a caption error. Just extracted the sound file, it's called 'carolyndeleted02.wav', and after listening to it on its own, it most certainly says 'Deleted'. I refer back to my other post: While GLaDOS is on your portal gun she says she is Caroline(To be noted as well is in this form she doesn't of the energy to lie), when you get to the end GLaDOS she deleted Caroline and in the credits it says Little Caroline is still in there with her. You could have the two options as: Caroline/GLaDOS GLaDOS but there is no separating Caroline from GLaDOS. Edit: "Erik: It was definitely conscious. First of all I think you mean Multiply personality disorder(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schizophrenia). Next Cave Johnson told 'you all' that Caroline was to be put into a computer to run the place. GLaDOS having the same personality traits as Caroline(Cave says Caroline is married - to science and GLaDOS says she is in it for the science), remembering Cave Johnson, referring to him in the same mannerisms as Caroline. Everything we find out after the Fall points to GLaDOS == Caroline.

Well TBH she doesn't say either(I played through that part again to check), she does do the OMG thing right after one of the Caroline things and after the lemonade/lemonbombs rant by Cave she says 'Yes Sir' in the same fashion as Caroline said it earlier when asked if the coupons(or w/e their called) were ready.
