Eh, I hate Apple products, but if you want to be the sucker that spends 3 times the amount on the same product, by all means, it's your money. When I'm at the movies, I sit next to the couple who brought their new-born baby to the PG or PG-13 movie and glare menacingly at them the second their baby makes a noise.

Okay, so this one is going to be relatively complicated, but everyone on this forum has a relatively high amount of brain power. So, the first 8 people to reply will be seperated, by me, into 2 "Families." You can name your family if you like, but otherwise, you will be families 1 and 2. After the families are made, I will write up some rather objective and well-thought-out, but mostly fabricated "surveys" that will be composed of six answers, which you have to guess. The question goes to every member of a family in a selected order until the family accumulates three incorrect guesses, or strikes. If you get one right, you receive X amount of points, depending on how high it was on the survey. After one family gets three strikes, the other family gets a chance to steal the points by guessing an answer higher than whatever the highest answer the other family got. If the first family already guessed the highest scoring answer, the other family cannot steal the points. Instead of the first correct answer system they use in show to determine the family that gets to guess, we will alternate between ALL the members of the families until a correct guess is given. Then that family gets to keep guessing. Start posting so I may recognize your presence and add you to the list.

Ugh. People are terrible. I recently learned something. Rarity, you're probably familiar with Glacier Water Company. They're supposed to be a rather large thing out in Cali. Well, one of my friends' late grandfather was the CEO of that company. He had money out the wazoo. And from what she remembers as a little girl, he was a great man. Then his wife out of nowhere accused him for domestic abuse and took basically all of his money and he had to give up the company to another CEO or something like that. The bitch is still alive as far as I know, ritzing it up without a single bit of guilt in her lack of a soul.

Awesome idea for a thread. Me gusta. Okay, this purchase has a bit of a backstory. A few days ago I bought Four cans of Monster because of the 2 for $3 deal at Royal Farms. My mom saw this and said "Aww hell naw." she told me I had to ask if I wanted one before I could drink it. I asked her if I could have one and she said I could have HALF. Knowing this was clearly not fair, I went outside with the can and me and my friend quickly guzzled the entire beverage. I then went to the Walgreens up the street and bought another can (along with two of the mega-cans) and proceeded to drink that halfway. I then returned to my house, hid the two megas in the fridge in the garage and showed my mother the half full can. She never suspected a thing.

Um...no. It's an abbreviation for "swagger". Yeah, the term gay wasn't used to refer to homosexuals until the 80s. Prior to that period, the term "homosexual" sufficed. Before the 20th century, the term queer was used to refer to counterfeit currency but in the 1900s, was used to refer to something odd. Again, not until the 80s was it used to refer to homosexuals. The term "butt pirate" came was a comical propoganda type term to cast poor light on any sea farer who endeavored in obtaining gold or any sort of "booty." Booty, originally meaning treasure, was corrupted into also referring to one's posterior because of its closeness in sound to butt. In order to control fear of these vicious pirates in the masses, they used the bastardization of the term to create a comical name for the pirates. OT: Teaching a history lesson. If I haven't gotten a half-decent point across, here's the TL;DR: Whooves is wrong. SWAG used as an acronym did not come about until the 2000s, when some 14 year old kid on 4chan thought it would be funny if he got the entire world convinced of this falsity of which you have had the misfortune to be informed. Chuck is correct, as swag was just a shortened term of swagger that claimed its roots in the rap and disco plagued 70s.
