I wear them for reading stuff far away. So when I was traveling to the Osaka aquarium I needed them to read signs and stuff.

I went to Japan this past summer btw: And I'm in my University marching band:

Bring this fucker back because I had a shitty Friday and decided to outlet it. This is more of a slam. I'm the intiator, Always the one to Ask for an invite, I'm the buzz in your pocket, That annoys not excites, The irritant you tolerate, Because ignoring me, Just wouldn't feel right. My weekends are either Fun nights with friends Because I caved And asked them myself, Or movie nights, In my room alone, With my plug for my phone, Move from my bed, To my desk, So I'll see it, If I pop into someone's head And they think "Hey he'd like to have a good time" But who the fuck Would think that. I eagerly check, Every single buzz, Hoping and praying, But it's usually just, Somebody liking, that facebook meme, I reposted this morning, And then the world seems, A little bit grayer, With every new ding, Sometimes I cry, But most times I, Hold back tears because, The pain is so familiar, Like billiards, I'm the 8 ball, Don't even give me a thought, Unless of course, it's your last shot, But nobody's that lonely, That they run out of options, And have to turn to me. I check friends' snap stories, Maybe it's masochism, But it feels just abysmal, To watch all these people, Enjoying their lives, Without me, Without me, Without me, Those two fucking words, Put a knot in my chest, Because they define how it feels To a dot, To a T, What it's like to be me, The initiator.

I use fleek every once in a while. Lit is starting to grate on me because people use it improperly but other than that it's aight. -
Currently taking 17 credit hours, Have seven hours of labs per week, marching band practices and events, and working 15-20 hours a week on late shifts. I'm exhausted and stressed beyond belief but getting by. I need to take this next weekend to recenter myself and make a gameplan for all this jazz.

Religious Discussions Thread!
Collective Foal replied to Reverend_UshankaCat_'s topic in Serious Topic Discussion
I don't preach to anybody because how can you preach a lack of belief. I'm agnostic. I have no concern for whether there's a heavenly power or not. I'm just gonna live a good life and assume that it's good enough for whatever is up there, if it's up there, to judge me as a good person. I do like hearing about religion from people who use it positively. Faith is a beautiful thing when you're practicing it in a positive way. -

Most Sci-Fi is definitely not based off Star Trek lmao. Science fiction got its biggest push with the works of H.G. Wells. But that wouldn't be something known by the unintelligent. -
I gotta question. Do you guys know how in medieval style battle scenes from movies, they'll muffle out all the screaming and sword clashing of the battle and play a very beautiful female vocal solo piece, often with some underlying strings. I need a specific searchable name for this kind of music so I can get more of it. Here's an example: Q9XN14PCJaw

Here's me giving this thread a big old hug goodbye. I want to thank (almost) every person who ever participated in this thread, because you all played a role in molding me into the person I am today, and I feel pretty well about how I turned out. Aside from your crazy misconception that pseudo-sciences like magic can contribute to the relationships between individuals, I will continue to embody the values I learned to exercise so well while a part of this community. A lot of you who have been around for a while might not know it, but you probably contributed to preventing me from committing suicide back in late 2011, and I'll forever be grateful for that, as I'm currently starting school and haven't felt depressed for an extended period of time in over 8 months. I'm actually happy now and that's something that I at one point wasn't sure I could achieve. So if I can be cringey once more, for one last time, I'd like to thank you for being my Rainbow Dash, my Applejack, my Twilight, my Rarity, my Pinkie Pie, and especially my Fluttershy for these past 4 years. You're great friends and I couldn't have asked for better company than what I got in this one thread from an obscure internet forum. Fitting that today is actually the 4th anniversary of my becoming a brony when I go ahead and move on with my life and find new shows to become unhealthily obsessed with. So goodbye everypony. Have a wonderful time with whatever you do in life and if you have a way of contacting me, never hesitate to use it if you ever want to!

Feminism/Gender equality
Collective Foal replied to Reverend_UshankaCat_'s topic in Serious Topic Discussion
Men's Rights Activism is inherently sexist. It doesn't take a college degree to realize that men have pretty damn good control of this world and women are ousted and made insignificant by a sexist society. Examples of this are the acts of slut-shaming, where women who dress a certain way or engage in casual sex are put to shame for being sluts, whereas men who engage in casual sex are "just being men." Men who catcall and sexually harass females get off the hook on a consistent basis. I mean hell, this happened in CANADA, one of the most progressive countries on the planet: jL-gzUCoWto And this happened in the US: e9Tj63pQai8 Like seriously, you can't deny that women aren't being dealt the fairest hand in a world where it's okay to kill girls because they were born female (China) or because they want an education (Middle East). And yet the MRA movement wants MORE?! LIKE ARE YOU SERIOUS? How could you possibly concern yourself with how you're being treated for having Barbies when women are gangraped and made to feel ashamed of it?! The MRA movement is misogynistic and sexist and a massive slew of various other disgusting adjectives, because it is rooted in the idea of giving more to the people who already have the most. And by the way, misandry isn't a fucking thing. All gender roles and expectations made for men are based in the assumption that women are inferior so it is BAD to act like a woman. It's okay for women to do "man things" though because they're trying to act like men, who are superior. -

My opinion is Gamergate was stupid and I never fully understood it or cared enough to understand it. I play video games and I like people. That's about as far as I go. -

Your liked/hated enemies in Video Games:Killing Floor
Collective Foal replied to Zaraki's topic in Gaming in general
Answering for the first as i haven't played the second. Sirens are a fucking pain because their AI actually programs them to hide behind bigger zeds in order to close the distance. Plus they do way too much damage and the residual damage you still take even if you killed her mid-scream bugs me. I typically play sharpshooter with the LAR for the entire game because center-screen headshots every damn time are just the best. So I resultedly love gorefasts because of how easy their heads are to hit and how common they are, so it's a lot of satisfaction. -
Don't. It's worse than BF3 in so many ways. They made sniping way too easy and the nade spam is even worse. There's a map that's called Operation Locker that I prefer to call OP Hurt Locker considering the narrow choke points in the map lead to constant stalematey grenade spamming through the little hallways. The graphics look almost fuzzy to me, where BF3, while colordrained and blue-stained, at least had a nice crisp look to it. As indicated before, the maps are terribly designed. Hurt Locker isn't the only one that's chokey and stupid.

Feminism/Gender equality
Collective Foal replied to Reverend_UshankaCat_'s topic in Serious Topic Discussion
Feminism gets a bad rep because of extremists, just like any other group of people. There are feminists that act like men are the scourge of the earth and all deserve to die in a fiery abyss. They're the ones that people see because they're the noisiest. But most feminism does have a direction. The way I look at myself as a feminist is that I support any major movement being made towards equality (i.e. protesting police brutality, especially against minorities, supporting the LGBTQ+ community, of which I am a part.) While I'm not a huge vocal advocate for equal rights, I do make myself heard when I see people thinking, speaking, acting in a shitty manner. If someone says "she was asking for it" because a rape victim was wearing revealing clothing, I will go the fuck off on that person. If somebody says that Darren Wilson was defending his life, I will proceed to go through every ounce of evidence that shows he shot a young, black, innocent man in the back and then several more times as he fell to the ground. And if somebody threatens violence simply because they don't like that people are happy the Supreme Court ruled in favor of legalizing gay marriage nationwide and in doing so validated and made happy again the lives of thousands of gay men and women who otherwise would be unable to marry their partner, then I will report their ass to the mods for being homophobic and threatening others. The idea is telling other people that they're fucking wrong and showing them why so as to change their way of thinking to become more helpful and progressive. If you change their minds and hearts, then equality is quick to follow, because everybody will then be in favor of it. That's what being a feminist means to me. While I understand that there are assholes who label themselves the same way as me and will ruin my own image and reputation, I'm more than willing to have that happen if it means I'm doing what's right and trying to make the world a better place.
