  1. All Levels at Once for music producer. Collective Soul for band. http://www.youtube.com/user/alllevelsatonce https://alllevelsatonce.bandcamp.com/ http://m.soundcloud.com/alllevelsatonce http://tumblr.alllevelsatonce.com/ ...Oh don't mind me. Just plugging my favorite music maker in all of existence. What's the #1 item on your wishlist for the holidays?
  2. My dog woke me up in time to see the fucking episode, and yet I STILL forgot it was on to watch it. I feel like an absolute idiot.
  3. WHAAAAAAAT? I WAS NOT INFORMED OF THIS!
  4. I'm a huge fan of electronic music, mostly because of the incredible variety of sound that one can make with it, as there are no instrumental limitations when you're working with a computer program and midi. But I also love my rock. As the name shows, I find Collective Soul to be one of the greatest bands of their generation. I typically enjoy classic rock bands (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy) but modern bands can often strike up a jiggy song and hook me. I love Imagine Dragons, though they're like Indie Rock / Folk / Pop. I rarely like Pop songs, but some of them catch my eye, like Royals by Lorde. Country music is okay in short blips or if you're hanging with the right people (Cecil county rednecks are some of the best folks out there). Rap is generally garbage that I don't even consider to be music. Classical is always appreciatable and every once in a while, I like to sit down to some Tchaikovsky (my favorite Romantic artist), because Romantic era music, while it doesn't make you wanna get up and shake dat ass, encapsulates emotion more effectively than any other genre, IMO. Jazz is awesome (Might be a bit biased seeing as I play the saxophone). I enjoy listening to Dino and Frankie, but I also love Michael Buble, as his voice is incredibly suited for the genre and he has a very contemporary style. Blues music is nice. And the Wild Card favorite genre of mine is Irish Folk Music. Pick up a Fiddle and a Recorder and I'll be as happy as a dog with a bone. I think that sums up everything I think of music. It's wonderful and an essential part of life to me, right with Food and Water and Sex.
  5. When I'm writing, be it texting or IM or on the forum, I NEVER do slang shit unless I'm joking around (lol ur trash m8 i fuk ur shit up). I feel like bastardizing English simply for your convenience is idiotic. I tend to not use too much slang when it falls in the category of what Bullseye described. Words like Dude, Bro, etc. Go in there, and I might let loose one of those ironic compliments like "Sick" or "Wicked," but for the most part, I like to pride myself in being articulate and well-spoken.
  6. Welcome to you, good sir Genesis. I feel like I should be more responsible and post in this thread more often, so people know what they're getting into when they enter a community that involves me. The old folks call me Flutters or Zach. Most of the people round these parts are quite friendly. I tend to be a bit quick to flare up, but there's only a few things that really get to me. SO STAY ON MY GOOD SIDE OR BEWARE! I MIGHT GET MYSELF BANNED FOR A MONTH! And User, I gotta agree. 2011 kicked absolute ass. There's be like 3 people posting in any thread at any given time. It kinda fucked my life up because I spent so much time here
  7. Fuckin... Catching Fire... KICKED SO MUCH ASS! 9.5/10 because I generally don't believe in perfection. Not until a movie with Morgan Freeman, Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, Will Ferrell, and Jack Nicholson is made...
  8. Banned for Robin Hood: Man in Tights
  9. Hey, remember when I told you to say what one more time mothfucka? Well I meant it. I like answering questions. It makes me feel intelligent.
  10. Robert loves to ride whales with magical hobgoblins, and they very him zany.
  11. It is done... And what, you ask, could be better than ANY OF THESE PREVIOUS PICTURES? BEHOLD!
  12. Robert loves to ride whales with Wallstreet hobgoblins, and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious very him zany.
  13. About to go to bed. Night all!
  14. I don't think I ever told everybody about the rig I've had for a year now. I currently have a motherboard that I can't remember the name of, An intel i5 3570k that clocks 3.4 - 3.8 Ghz on 4 cores 16 GB 1600Mhz RAM 4TB of data on 2 hard drives. My 1TB drive is mechanically fucked, so I'm gonna back it up on the spare I bought some time ago. some point this holiday season (if anybody knows an easy way to do so without going to Best Buy and paying them to do it, please let me know!) An Nvidia GTX 560Ti which runs my game graphics for my 23" LED monitor. An AMD Radeon HD7750, which was my primary card, but now runs the graphics on my 16" tube monitor. I am, however, running Wireless connection, as my room is across the hall from the modem, but I still get 3-4 MB/s download speeds. Not TOO bad. I also have a Logitech G35 headset that has digital Dolby 7.1 Surround. It's very nice for the games I play, and I absolutely recommend buying a refurbished set from NewEgg. $55 when I got 'em and they work perfectly. Soon, I plan to get a Razer Deathadder mouse, Razer Blackwidow Keyboard, and a nice mousepad. For the time being, I have a surprisingly dependable and well-serving AZZA mouse and keyboard that certainly won't be getting sold off or scrapped once I get the new stuff. That's pretty much everything.
  15. I personally believe that Israel should not be a country. The entire strip of land that is deemed "Holy land" to so many different cultures should not be given to any particular government or religion. Israel should be a UN policed no-man's-land where anyone desiring to pursue their religious interests can live without fear of persecution. I certainly don't believe giving the Christian, Jewish, and Islamic holy sites over to a Jewish government was a good idea EVER. Fuck the USA's desire to have a foothold in the middle-east. I'd rather TRY to resolve a 2000 year conflict than spend money taking care of some small country across the world from us that only pisses off the majority of people out there anyways.
  16. I've never personally fired a firearm. I've owned a BB rifle and an airsoft M4 replica. However, I have a very strong attraction to Bolt Action Rifles. No other Infantry rifle can boast the sheer power and precision of one. I get really excited every time I see the sniping scene from Hurt Locker. The sheer size of a. 50 caliber bullet is impressive, and all the strength it carries when it hits its target generally just causes it to explode. That's really the jist of what I've got to say.
  17. So my stance towards God has changed in the past couple years. I feel as though there is a balance to things and I personally believe that we are reborn after we live out one life cycle, but for the most part we're just freestyling through everything. I don't believe in a real God entity. I'm more of a hard science guy. I personally believe all the holy books are like a really sophisticated, world changing Aesop's fables. They set out moral standards to prevent societies from collapsing in harsh times and to give hope for the same reasons. People like the Puritans were spiritual masochists and got the whole thing wrong. Yeah, these days, I view religion from a very objective, third person standpoint. Am I going to raise my children on religion and have them go to church when they're young? Absolutely. They're free to think what they like about God and all that, but they're absolutely going to receive the fabulous moral education that the Bible or any other book of faith teaches. But we sure as fuck ain't going to no traditional church. We're gonna have a damn fun time at church and we'll party with Buddy Christ
  18. The problem with equality is that it will never be achievable because of our instinctual hard-wiring. From my standpoint, women actually get a LOT of breaks. 99% of people think hitting a woman is morally wrong (not an actual statistic, just a generalization). Women are not frowned upon for taking up jobs or hobbies that are traditionally occupied by men, but the opposite is not even near true. Men are naturally conceived as the strong, bread-winning protector of a family, while women are seen as the infrastructure of te family. It's been that way since before Homo Erectus speciated, and there's not much you can do to change millions of years of genetic code and social thought.
  19. Payday 2. It's pretty fun, I just wish I had 3 friends to play it with. There's one game I've got my eye on though. I've seen a couple gameplay vids of "Papers, Please" and it's definitely something I want in my library.
  20. My sniping is actually getting pretty good. In comp, I'm nothing special, but I can pubstomp it any day. As scout, it's almost guarenteed I top charts. I've become very confident in my scout game.
  21. I honestly can't pick a favorite... Caning intensifies...
  22. Hey, remember when I didn't have so little to do that I'd spend time reviving threads in the games section?
  23. Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia floccinaucinihilipilification with Wallstreet hobgoblins, and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious very him zany.
  24. Roaming rows of writing, reader revived reticent relics.
