That's because he's a heavy class. His lowered speed makes up for his buffed health. Plus, he has a lot of difficulty fighting skilled enemies head-on, especially in CQB because he has no line-draw weapons and his explosives cause damage to himself if the enemy's too close.

Anyway, I feel like I'm getting too into this show. I love it so much, but I get really involved in things like this often. I dunno what to do. I don't wanna take a break but I don't want to be driven into solitary confinement by my addiction. Oh well. Edit: Heads up, the fanfic is going to have two alternative plotlines. I just couldn't be decisive enough on who the love interest for the MC should be, so I'm gonna do a plot for both. (Twice the work, YAY!) You're free to guess who the two love interests will be (I think it's pretty obvious)

Gotcha there. Never was good with understanding the spacetime stuff. I still don't understand why that works, but I'll figure it out eventually. I know that Einstein was all like, nothing can go faster than c, but I fail to agree. For now you're absolutely correct, but in my mind, as there is a limitless amount of energy in the universe, particles can be accelerated to limitless speeds, just convert all the potential energy into kinetic energy and you're moving pretty damn fast.

It would actually take hundreds of years for that rocket to reach Alpha Centauri because of the spac time shift. From the sattelites perspective, it's clock ran up 43 years, but for humans, we're waiting 430 years for it. Also, something I've always been fuzzy on. Does "the speed of light" mean the speed of light in a vacuum? Because when being run through series of mirrors and gaseous mists, the speed of an electron can be slowed to a crawl, causing photons to be given off at a snail's pace. I don't believe in a light barrier to be honest with you, as that speed is highly variable. All you have to do is excite a particle enough so that it travels faster and faster, though at that point it would probably be converted to a plasma. My idea of light travel is much like a teleporter. You have two diodes. One has a high positive charge and the other has a high negative charge. You then excite particles to become a plasma. Plasmas only contain protons, so they have a high positive charge. They would be pushed from the positively charged diode and pulled to the negatively charged diode at incredibly high speeds. You then restore electrons to the plasma, Putting it back to it's original form. This would also serve as a great filter, as different elements would reach the diode at different times depending on how many protons they contain. Radium would travel much faster than Hydrogen, for example. But those are just my thoughts...

The scout can have similar health to other classes, if you get the delivery boy polycount pack. Otherwise, the scout still has "similar health" to 3 other classes. Almost 50% of the characters have 125 health. They're meant to have low health because they all have a special ability that compensates for their low health. The sniper has the ability to kill any class in one shot. The engineer has the ability to build a bullet-spitting rocket-launching death machine. The spy can turn invisible, disguise as the enemy team, and kill anybody with one hit from behind. The scout has an insanely powerful CQB weapon, double jump, and run faster than any other class in the game. If you've seen a GOOD scout, you'd think the class was OP, because only a soldier or a heavy with amazing tracking skills would be able to kill a GOOD scout.

Write a shipping fiction, you know, where 2 ponies find each other and are... on a boat. In all seriousness, what kind of fiction are you writing? I'm thinking about ponifying myself and making me the main character, and list all ma experiences. There will be shipping and my grammar is twice as good as the kind of stuff you find on fancition.net, so you won't have to worry about not understanding it. My writing style is very vivid, with long, comma'd sentences and lots of imagery, and just for some teasers: I will be a pegasus pony named Flash. Silvery-white coat with bright yellow faded to Rainbow Dashy blue mane. Cutie mark is a wing made of lighning bolts. Also, I've found that without my medication, I'm more like Pinkie Pie with Fluttershy's kindness and Dashy's confidence and competitive spirit.
