  1. Syfy? Because sci-fi is too difficult to spell for the average person in the US?
  2. Mine has a twist.
  3. A lapdance by a guy? I'll pass.
  4. In soviet Russia, Steam controls you. Oh wait. . .
  5. "Below-average" is an understatement. . .
  6. Having it locked like that by default delivers a strong message though.
  7. It's weekend, don't sleep at all! After the appointment try to survive a part of the day and then go early to bed and wake up fresh on the Monday morning.
  8. The only times I fall asleep at 0:00 or earlier are accidental. I love the night; the peaceful, quiet darkness. I can be left to my own devices without interruption.
  9. That is what you get when buying an Apple product; dictation. There is no freedom, you're told exactly what software and features you are allowed to use. It is a dark world of proprietary, closed-source programming. That is probably one of several sacrifices Apple do to ensure none of their sheep crash or freeze the computers, which they still manage to do on occasions any ways.
  10. The pulse rifle. A futuristic weapon done really well in my opinion. The only bad thing is how little ammo you could carry. And the sound effects, my goodness Valve are good at this. Have you ever tried to fire the pulse rifle while playing the game with a big sub-woofer and speakers hooked to the PC? Each pulse shot makes the photos on the walls of my room rumble, holding down mouse button 1 = instant eargasm. The shotgun and magnum also have a thundering sound effect but they don't fire nearly as rapidly.
  11. To be fair, those who only know Ross' work through Youtube were "rick"rolled, Machinima put a FM poster on the video. April fools, to me, is about tricking people to do something. Go some place, and then say "April fools!", like through a phone. Just telling a joke and then saying "April fools!" right after is about as lame as it gets, in real life any ways, it can work online pretty well as we have observed.
  12. Guys, just in case you haven't noticed by now BTG is either being ignorant on intent to troll you or he is really that incredibly dense, either way you're wasting your time trying to reason with him.
  13. Now imagine if that bear was a Russian bear riding a unicycle.
  14. Sounds and looks impressive. I look forward to see games powered by this engine in action.
  15. iTunes makes any self-respecting software developer cringe in horror, and not enough users. I am going to assume that people only use it because Steve Jobs told his flock to. XMPlay or Foobar 2000 are two of the best audio players I know. Both are very resource efficient without sacrificing features, Foobar 2k takes the cake as the most customizable. It is like the Miranda IM of audio players.
  16. No, and I couldn't care less.
  17. Because clearly 80s text books have facts about the 21st century. Elaborate. Pluto was downgraded to a dwarf planet in August of 2006 because of rapid discoveries of new objects in the Kuiper belt, Eris being an example of an object even larger than Pluto itself, discovered the year before.
  18. Are you born in 2007? Pluto was a planet for over three quarters of a century, 1930 - 2006.
  19. Only there it is probably called December fools day.
  20. It is a "dwarf planet" now. Not that big of a change really. When new space objects get discovered definition sometimes need updating.
  21. The Asus here. I wish these modern cards were quieter.
  22. Yes, we were talking about that, or at least I was.
  23. BTG and I used warp speed to demonstrate just how vast space is. So far I'm not seeing any Star Trek talk in here, just a discussion of speed/distances.
  24. Wow, first Alyxx, then me, and now Luis? The HD 5770 is popular around these parts.
  25. I thought since you were doing generalizations I might as well join in. I have encountered awesome dogs like the one my dad had, and also loud and stupid ones that make a hyperactive hamster look reliable. Likewise I have met awesome and loving cats alongside lazy ones that don't care about anyone, not even their owner. I think a pet's upbringing says a lot about certain traits, getting them young and bringing them up yourself goes a long way to create quality friends, bring adults to a new home is only asking for trouble in most cases.
