It was well over a year ago and we only had 4 episodes since.

If you have played Doom 3 that quote should ring a bell.

Hamburglars are specially trained to steal hamburgers. They live in a remote building and keep a high score table for each restaurant chain.

Justin Bieber is so handsome. <3 <3 <3 -
But that is the whole silence thing. How do you know that they aren't just incredibly slow? With Ep3 becoming HalfLife 3 it would hopefully put the final nail into the coffin of episodic releases.

As far as I know Norwegians found Iceland over 1000 years ago and from that point the language there evolved into its own direction as the years passed by and the population grew. Icelandic has actually not changed too drastically all those years though.

Hey nomogoodnames, does this mean you can wipe your ass and chin at the same time?

I <3 bunnies. <3 <3 <3 -
This was two years ago actually. A year ago we got the piratespeak episode (Ross says it wasn't a joke but the timing can't be a coincidence.) and this year something entirely unrelated to FM.

It most definitely is. But Valve are not incompetent developers, so either they're doing something huge in secret or they got the priorities handled by a monkey.

<3 is also common in their writing style. -
I am the only Icelander here, most likely. Not really sure if those subtitles would be worth an effort.

An episode taking four years and counting to develop is a sign of incompetence. Since Valve don't have a history of that, especially looking at the time line of Half-Life 2 - Episode 2, I strongly suspect we will get a Half-Life 3. It is alarming how silent they have been about the Half-Life series during these years, either they are preparing something really big or they are acting incredibly dumb by putting stuff like DotA or L4D at the top of the priority list.

Should manshoot become a real sub-genre of shooters?

We won't stop evolving naturally until mutation can be completely stopped and prevented. -
There is no pun in my post. It is a simple observation.

Even neutrinos can't penetrate some skulls. Like BTG's.

Wondering why people use this thread as a Twitter feed.

Although BTG is greatly exaggerating on that last point he is right, these integrated solutions are not meant for gaming, they are meant for media playback and other low profile usage.

How many timid you shit yourself during Dead Space?

Part of the experience involves suspending disbelief and not focusing on not being scared. When you start a scary game and act all manly and actively keep it that way throughout the game you are missing the point, of course you are not going to get scared with that attitude, you will experience some startles at best. People should try to "enter" the world they are playing in. -

Speak for yourself. Dead Space is a similar scare game to Doom 3, only does it much better in my experience with both of them. Dead Space also builds up more tension since you are not a marine carrying 8 guns with enough ammo to slay satan five times over. Isaac is a lot more vulnerable than Doomguy and the necromorphs are much more twisted than iD's imagination of demons. Another plus for Dead Space is having some of the best sound design in video games to date, it shits all over Doom 3's washed out, weak sound effects. Don't even get me started on the Hellknight or the menu music's sound quality. Yuck. Both games have a section where nothing happens for a while, and both games do it very well, adding lots of sound effects and startlers. Every little bit of noise in the first rooms of Delta Labs 1 turned my hair and back into spikes. I wish these sort of moments had been more common, they remind me of The Cradle in Thief 3.
