hey now someone has to be realistic, im hoping it doesnt happen, i love the series, and i'd hate to see the series end, especially if its not seen completely through. btw civil protection is awesome too, and i love it more than FM. i've been a fan of it since Halloween safety.

yea im belligerently pissed today cause its taken 4 goddamn months for my glasses to come in, i called the place to ask them to get their thumb out of their asses, and they said "the lenses are in! in two weeks you'll have your frames!" WELL THATS GOOD FUCKING NEWS!! its not like i cant legally drive without them or anything! and i know people are gonna say "just get contacts", my face just isnt complete without them.

lmao im not trying to jinx him or his viewers. but speaking of the last episode, how the hell is he going to write an ending that leaves the viewers satisfied? i mean the creator of barneys mind did something very epic and that left me happy with it, i wonder what's in Ross' head for that episode..

i agree, im just fearing for if/when Ross just burns out on ideas or gets mugged and punched in the throat or something.

to your second quote reply: ah okay, he did say he "shouldn't party this hard every night" so at first he thought he lost his memory from drinking too much. so yea my apologies for assuming wrongly, i had to watch episode 35 again just to make sure. to the first, sure, its an understandable mistake, i mean he does show signs of experimenting with drugs in the past, (most likely small stuff) but he doesn't show signs of going through a cocaine withdrawal e.g lack of pleasure, depression, seeing or feeling things that aren't there etc. so yea it may be implied through character, but not through symptoms. im also looking forward to FM but more so after the residue processing area, then the fun really begins

yeah and not an egregious one at that. just a couple major things that wont make it happen, Ross' Gordon does not do cocaine, as far as implied, prescription drug abuse and alcoholism. also black out drunk = amnesia? No getting your ass kicked by two soldiers = retrograde amnesia. unless youre talking about the last time "he woke up in a trash compactor". and secondly, Ross is an original creator so i doubt he's been known to take viewers' ideas, hes even been known to reject a few, if my memory serves right.

they kinda look alike too lol, but i have no idea if the valve team planned that kinda image about their Gordon, but Ross definitely did though...

so i was doing something non important when i had an epiphany, my voice sounded so boring and kinda unplayed out, so i dedicated an hour saying freeman's mind lines, just recording and listening to what inflections sounded funniest, i couldnt figure it out it always sounded, without. for the first two episodes i recorded laying in my bed, my body upright by the wall, then i tried it standing up with my microphone in a stand, and for some reason the quality of my lines just heightened instantly, they sounded more articulate, enthusiastic, and natural. so i felt like i should share that with you guys short version, i think the quality of my voice acting is going to improve. edit: alyxx had an excellent point with maintaining quality, so i finished filming with the third one, but im gonna dedicate a pretty ridiculous amount of time on the lines, probably record a line at a time, then splice it together rather than record a whole episode in one take....

That was actually better than the last one. I laughed a little bit when you tried to sneak up on that Barney. Great job! yea the last one was basically me killing time while listening to a tram. in the second one the voice thing was some lucky fluke i knew i had to exploit. im still wondering what people think about what i did with the HUD.

yea thats one of the things i did first. but the mp5 still kills too slow, its damage value is 8 same as the pistol. so i think it should be able to kill faster.

well i took your advice and tried to enunciate the lines better, and i think i came up with a pretty good closer. tell me what you think!

haha i knew i was gonna get called out on my pronunciation. i have a problem with stuttering, its pretty mild at this point, but still prudent enough to cause me to scrap some lines. i probably have about 20 potential lines from the first episode alone that was pretty much impossible to say naturally, and or coherantly. so thats my main challenge with this. (shortversion/)i have to say lines in a certain way to "trick" my disorder so to speak(/short version) but i think i may have to take your advice and write a clincher at the end cause in retrospect it did end a bit...fast and dry, i tihnk. thanks for the feed back mes i do have a script written out, if i get enough requests ill post it. to kaweebo, thanks, but for the thing about "people stop doing minds on the same game" thing the reason i did it for HL is because its the only silent protaganist game i have any experience with. and i spent a truck load of time, while watching ross' series, thinking of things i could do, jokes, etc. so because of time spent already putting this thing together im gonna continue with it.

im going to begin work on filming the next episode! tomorrow ill do voice over stuff (if im happy with the footage) and i should have the video up within the month! joking, of course, should be maybe 3 days perhaps.
