okay, I PM'd you already, Pest, about multi-posting, and i told you both to stop derailing this thread. This is the final warning for both of you: get back on topic.
-
Are you in that phase too where all your games have gotten old?
-
Eh, sorta. The introduction thread is just announcing who you are. This is meant more towards building friendships.
-
Am I an awful person for really wishing I could experience that for myself?
-
Okay, no. This is a venting thread. I'd rather you didn't fight or start fights here. (I.e. great, more McCarthyists (it's an American term, so don't get mad if you don't get it right away)). Don't insult people, or imply people are too stupid to get your vernacular. Us being Americans doesn't mean we're better, smarter, or worse than anyone. Also, this isn't the topic for discussing politics.

Well, assuming you have $113 to spend on a hands-free mic, I would personally recommend the Turtle Beach X32's http://www.turtlebeach.com/product-detail/xbox-headsets/ear-force-x32/58 To make PC chat possible you'd need this: http://www.turtlebeach.com/product-detail/cables-parts/pc-chat-adapter-cable/71 I use the mic for Xbox Live and voice quality is the best I've used so far. I don't imagine using them on PC would change anything since the mic uses Microsoft drivers.

There must be something wrong with me because I was under the impression we were already friends. Anyway, I'm an American, I love tattoos, Music, and any intelligent debate mostly revolving around one's personal philosophy. i like people's take on their world as they perceive it, and in doing so, i'm prone to psychoanalyzing people. I don't get along with people who try to be a part of a set instead of trying to stand out as individuals. In short, we'll get along if you're considered weird. Fun fact: I find insanity hilarious, I'm not sure why. Although i may or may not need to merge this topic because I'm pretty sure one similar was already made. I'll get back to you on that.

Wait, we can say fuck, but not that? WTF? Not 100% sure if you're serious. But yea, fuck is more acceptable than fa**ot because the latter is a slur, and that's pretty much it's universal meaning(aside from a bundle of sticks). Fuck, however, is more versatile. This explains it pretty well. T4kZUrGBMCA Yea, I'm pretty sure i'm an obscenely bad role model...

Well, it's an inactive spell. Those happen from time to time. Sparse adult language is expected, but never to insult another user whether or not you feel you've been attacked first. Also, i missed the part where he was E-flexing...he was telling people to knock off the immaturity. it's like you're saying you would let guests in your home, disrespect your house's rules, and it's more mature to take it all in stride because normal people being immature is an everyday thing... By the way, that PM was a warning notification for using offensive language. Not for using adult language.
-
No, that's a sign people don't understand you. Tragically though, people use this type of language because they're too ignorant to come up with anything else. There's no shame in being different, dude. I mean, at least people notice you. I'd notice the "Weird guy" before any of the other clones trying desperately to fit in. By the way, I'm taking you using the word fa**ot in stride, only because you used it out of context. please censor any future usage of those kinds of words.

moved to the forum games section. I'll keep the shadow link up until OP acknowledges the move.

I own an MXL 990 condenser microphone, along with a Behringer Xenyx 1204xUSB mixer/audio interface. I use it for singing and voice acting. Though i think i need a few more things before i'm ready to record anything good. like i still can't audio engineer and i still don't understand my equipment well enough to use it properly for professional work. Also, i think i got the wrong kind of microphone. my voice comes out flat and without any substance through the 990. It pretty much sounds like i'm not singing, but talking with prolonged syllables. It's annoying. -
Hey Daniel, i wish you luck in subtitling the singing part. especially the new verses.

Nah, Internet guy's a real user. i think he was trying to link to a website that doesn't exist to be funny. looky what i made!

It goes off screen to the break room, talks to the other bots, getting insight into his role, getting advice on how he could've looked better being dragged by Prime, and waiting for his que to combine with Optimus. According to behind the scenes, the trailer's a real demanding actor. Not only does Prime use him as a break room when they're both off-screen, but the caterers need to provide food for them both. Also, the trailer's made it with every female actor on the show. (if "making it" counts as people having sex INSIDE him.)

Well, depending on how long your shift is, if you gotta drive there, and if you do anything like driving heavy machinery then i'm going to equate that experience to a small child boxing against an animate semi-truck. (You're not the semi-truck.)

Returning to the forums. I've finally figured out my work schedule(The reason I've been away: Work-alcoholism) So I'm able to do more during my day like computer stuff. i may be able to go outside eventually. I've recently been informed that going to work doesn't count as "being outside".

It's not up to us if you're allowed to change your names. Maybe make a case to Ross Scott or something. :/ Also, Strange-object. Self-explanatory.

When I was your age I was 18...

No! We are a faction of American Grammar Nazis with no sympathetic regard to Hitler's National Socialist Party, or people who fuck up the Almighty Dictionary. We are, however, less than merciful to people who besmirch the Lord Thesaurus. Misusing semi-colons are a gray area however. Who really understands their full use anyway?

While introducing yourself, it's simple but proper etiquette to use capitalization and proper spelling.Anyways, welcome to the forum. Corporal Grammar Nazi Humin, stand down! You've been hosed by a spam bot. Return to base for re-tasking.

1. I work as an ICS associate at Wal-Mart. 2. I have a tribal tattoo(32 if you count all the pieces to it.) 3. I'm technically a Padawadame Native American Indian, so I can legally own a casino. 4. I'm borderline obsessed with voice acting, and singing. 5. I have a stutter. (singing/acting/talking are different speech processes.) 6. I once was a suspect for stealing from a church. 7 people identified the person on surveillance as me. I thought it was pretty asinine, so I volunteered for a lie detector test, and refused another word unless it involved me being hooked up to a $10,000 program on some asshole's laptop. (that's seriously how they do polygraph tests now.) Obviously I passed it since i'm not in prison. Also, what kind of a bastard steals from a church? 7. I've had 3 fights in my life. I'd prefer 0, but I'm not perfect. 8. And, I love Taekwondo. Both practicing and watching it.

I use this, and it works fine for me. I don't use the phantom functionality of mine, but it does have it, and it is under $100USD. Bear in mind I only really use my microphone to talk to friends online and on Mumble (a small VOIP application), and rare private messing around with voice acting, but I've never noticed any quality issues. What do you use for the output? A review i watched said you need a 1/4" adapter or something.

Anyone feel like helping me? I bought an XLR microphone that i thought came with the phantom power preamp, but it didn't. Also, i don't know what's good in a preamp. So, who has recommendations? By the way, it needs Phantom power 48V, under $100USD and a USB so i can plug it directly into my computer. thanks for any tips...
