I agree, you should be ranked on quality of your posts, not quantity. perhaps a system where you need both rep and posts to achieve a certain rank like Expendable - negative rep npc_citizen - 0 to 50 posts & 0 to 5 rep Bona Fide Regular - 50 to 100 posts & 5 to 10 rep Serial Poster - 100 to 150 posts & 10 to 15 rep Civil Protection - if your a mod Gorden Freeman - Ross Scott etc, they should just be somewhat witty and should be relevant.

Kind of funny you say that because the reputation system is completely homemade, so you can't get much more personallised. I don't see why there can't be different messages though, perhaps relating to Civil Protection or Freeman's Mind. Exactly what i was thinking, just some special witty things, maybe even a picture of a person putting star stickers on themselves for the "You can't give yourself reputation!" thing it doesnt have to be well made just in good taste
