On the subject of Barney: What the hell happened to him? I mean, he's not in HL2:Ep2...

I can't remember exactly how I started watching FM, but I think it was to do with Civil Protection. I think I was just browsing Machinima's YouTube channel one day and came across it, seeing Ross Scott's name and I was like: "Hey, it's that guy who does Civil Protection". Or something like that.

I might use that as a new catchphrase. Hilarious line XD

Considering that at the end of Lost Coast, Freeman teleports out of the coast, it would be a great filler in-between the time he steps into the teleporter at Nova Prospect and arrives at Dr. Kleiner's lab one week later. So I say, why not? It makes sense if you look at it Steps into teleporter at Nova Prospect -> teleports into Lost Coast -> teleports out of the Coast into Kleiner's lab. It would be a cool thing to see... edit: but then there's the problem with Alyx... Would she be stuck in a continuity in the mean time? Because if they teleported together, wouldn't she be with him at Lost Coast?

Personally, I think it would be a bad idea, being that Ross already voices a character in CP as well as Freeman. I think both series' should just stick to their own devices and have no cross-over events that include CP & FM.

After Freeman's Mind, I'd have to say: 1) Shepherd's Mind 2) Harrison's Mind 3) Barney's Mind (Bearing in mind these are the only other Mind series I have seen).

Don't you think it's a bit too soon, as I find that Ross wants to progress in chronological order (being the best suitable choice). And besides, he's barely through the half-way point of HL. There would be no point until FM is finished with Half-Life. In the future, maybe... We'll just have to see.

I thought the pun was the "$20" one, which I have noticed in other such Mind series', particularly Barney's Mind, that he makes several quotes to people owning him money and "I don't give a damn if he dies, as long as he didn't owe me money." Or did I just completely miss it?

Maybe he just didn't feel pain in that region, with all the amnesia and such...
