'I'm the Freeman' was pretty good. It's CGI, and more of a trailer than a film, but I enjoyed it.

My top 5 games!? Don't make me choose! In seriousness, I'll give it a think but it'll be very hard. So many good games, and different ones seem better at different times depending on what mood I'm in. Moved to the General Gaming section for you.

When asked about the lack of media, I believe they said they've stopped posting new media for two reasons, one, because it takes some of their spare time away which could be used on making the mod, and the other reason is that any announcements etc they make will be manipulated by others to mean anything, ie 'This clearly means the mod is dead' or 'It's going to be released within the week!'. I can see where they're coming from. I lack a gamepad as well. I am concerned I may do permanent damage to my two left fingers on my left hand from playing this game (I MUST HOLD SHIFT).

I've only ever had this when the server I'm on has started to come under heavy strain, due to say, a massive forest fire. That causes a fair bit of lag. Other than that, I'd say there may be something wrong on your end. The lag certainly isn't anywhere close to being as bad as that normally. It could also be due to the fact that you live in Australia. I would advise trying to find a more local server, as you may get a fair bit of lag playing on a US or European server.

Does anyone else play this? It's an excellent hard-as-nails platformer with great music. Indeed it was. Personally, I've played Minecraft far far too much... Other than the lack of the Nether, and sometimes lagging behind the features of single-player, what is it you find bad about playing the beta online?

Whilst the music is in general (no pun intended) pretty good, I particularly enjoyed the music and general musical themes for the Empire of the Rising Sun in Red Alert 3.

Another few more suggestions, I don't know if it is posible, but I think it would be nice to give a little description with the reputation you give, like you hit the '+' button and then type 'Helpful post ^^'. Along with this, or as an alternative to this, it would be nice to be able to view this description or a link to the particular post you got repped for from your own user profile, along with the date and possibly time it was given. Kind of like how the reputation system works on the Steam forums.

The banner is the only button that links from the forum to the homepage. Unless other buttons get added that link to the homepage from the forum, to me it seems to make sense to have the banner link to the homepage.

It also includes an example map to download, so you can compare it to your own and hopefully hunt down the problem if following the steps in the tutorial is not enough.

Your desktop's tidyness should be an inspiration to all of us with untidy desktops (like myself). Is that a really heavily modified Windows 7 task bar at the bottom of your screen? It's barely recognisable but for the Windows logo.

I believe that's what's known as a 'recurring theme' and is fairly normal for things like films etc. Like a recurring theme for a certain character (like Jack Sparrow), or for a certain setting. A fair point, most people probably play it for the multiplayer.

I believe Half-Life 2 is only set around ten years after the first game. I have no idea how Freeman meeting Chell might work (both seem to be silent protagonists ). Actually Hl2 is 20 years after the first one because Alyx was 5 or 6 when she was saved by Gman. Then, Gordon was kept in stasis for 20 years by the Gman making Alyx and Gordon close to the same age. Gordon is 28 and Alyx is 25. Well I believe Half-life 2: Raising the Bar mentions that it's ten years. And I'm pretty sure that we do not know what age Alyx was when she was rescued by the Gman.
