I am currently using Windows 7, but was previously using Windows Vista. I upgraded because it was cheap to do so as a student. I had no problems with Vista, nor have I had any problems with Windows 7. Both worked like a charm.

What I understand about torrents from my minimal research is that you cannot modify a torrent after creation because this will either: a)modify it's hash and therefore create an entirely new torrent Ah yes, makes sense.

Wow, that's devastating... It was today. I was in school when It happend. My geograph teacher told us abou it. It's sad. I hope it isn't one of a signs of the end of the world yet Nah, Japan has been hit by earthquakes before, it's got a fault line running through it or very close to it I believe. Also, I thought it was an 8.9 magnitude one. Either way, it's apparently the largest in Japan's recorded history, and I read about there being several large aftershocks following the quake. Still, it is indeed a sad event, unfortuately there is virtally nothing any of us can do about it.

Nicely done tisnman, have some rep. I'll grab these and seed them. I'm a little curious though, is it possible to modify an existing torrent to add a new episode in, or will we all have to download the new torrent file? Not that it's too hard to do that, but it might bother people who are currently downloading it when suddenly it switches to a new torrent due to a new episode release... I apologise if I've got anything wrong there, I'm not too knowledgable on torrents and such. Have you considered making one for Civil Protection as well? Or are you waiting for the Tunnel to be released first?

That doesn't work for me. I have adblockplus but it only works every now and then. That would be because different youtube adverts from from different sites. If you use AdblockPlus, to view all the blockable elements on the page (click the icon at the top right of your browser that says 'ABP' and then click 'Open Blockable Items'. The rest should be fairly straight forward, the advertisements should be obvious. It is important to keep in mind that some smaller sites use adverts to keep themselves running, however I can sympathise with having the same car advert play for the millionth time when watching a youtube channel with adverts, or having those flash adverts with sounds...or those adverts that take up your entire screen and require you to click stuff... I hope this helps.

It's rumoured that the Soundtrack has recently 'gone gold', ie finished and to be released 'soon'. It's been stated on their forums that the soundtrack would be released a couple of weeks before the release of the actual mod, so I'm now going to keep my eye out. After all you never know, it could be coming out 'soon'. ;P Or it could be months until release. But lets look on the hopefuly side of a release being soon.

I've not played a lot of racing games, but I have really enjoyed Dirt 2. It looks lovely and is fun to play.

Yet another person who can raise one eyebrow...I feel most deprived. Interesting pictures from people though.

It would seem Sony won this round. If what that video says is true, what LG were trying to do was quite rediculous.

To use professional psychological terminology, he's nuts.

Every post says 'This post has: likes!' I'm guessing this is a bug.

Steady on there, no need to go and do anything rash.

Source engine water problems
Lord Sinister replied to Ryanstraub's topic in Technical Source Engine Stuff
The interlopers compile log error checker is safe. I just pasted the log you pasted here in to it. It says you've got leaks in your map, which (if you don't know) are basically holes in your map to the void outside of it. As your map isn't too large they should be relatively easy to find. If not though, I believe you can load a pointfile in Hammer to locate leaks...it's been a while since I did that though. -
Doesn't look like an anime, looks more like some live action thing, from a poster or something like that.

Let the mindless judgement, hate and subsequent bans commence! /joke I judge no one. Well unless they're breaking the rules or something like that. Then it's going to go all 'Holy Crusade' this and 'Nuclear War' that. It'll be alright in the end though.

And bigger guns.

I've not played as much of Fallout 3 as I have Oblivion, but I will say that Fallout 3 is a good game. Oblivion is simply better.

I voted 'other' because whilst what I want might be close to saying that it would be the 'same as it is now', I have further suggestions. To moderate rep, admins and moderators should have the ability to revoke a user's rep privilages (ie prevent them from giving/taking rep) if they have been seen to be abusing the reputation. It would be helpful if staff could view in a user's profile who has been giving them rep, to confirm abuse. It might also be useful if someone has abused the rep system, for staff to revoke individual rep given/taken in a user's profile, to remove spammed/abused rep and restore their profile to normal. Perhaps it might work kind of like the post approval/disapproval system. In relation to profiles, it would be nice if users could see who has repped them, and the reason. In relation to that, being able to write a short summary of why you are giving/taking rep from someone would be a great way of letting them know what they're doing right/wrong in the eyes of the community. In addition there should be a limit for repping the same person. ie, say, you cannot give/take rep from the same person twice with 30 seconds/1 minute. I realise there are a fair few suggestions here and I have no idea how hard they'd be to implement, but I think they're worth considering. I agree with you. I also agree.

It does? How so? I never associated a stretched out image of Doctor House with my high school nickname I don't know, it just seems 'right' for some reason. It's probably the large ever-staring eyes...

Half Life 2 Episode 3 (Discussion)
Lord Sinister replied to n3o's topic in Valve Games / Valve Stuff
Pretty much all the information we know about Episode 3 is in n30's post (a few pieces of concept art etc). Valve have kept very silent about it. We can only wait and see what happens. -
Slightly off topic, His Spogness, your avatar fits perfectly with your forum name. On topic, it seemes we have people from all over the world on this forum, which is pretty impressive!

These days I suppose this is true. When did you first try and play it? It was simpler back when it was first released in 2007. Since then more content has been added...then some more......and more...yeah I can see how it might be overwhelming if you've been trying it out for the first time recently.
