It looks intriguing, but I want to see some proper gameplay, media still seems to be fairly scarce for it right now.

I suggested this amongst other things to Ian I think it was who said he'd pass on my suggestions. Sadly nothing's come of it but I assume it's because our Administrators are busy people, dealing with the recent forum issues and such.

Actually that makes alot more sense since he said "No sharing of unauthorized sources", but he did say "absolutley no .torrent files" so i guess i just jumped and said it was the torrent and everything in it. Well your Tunnel video in the torrent does seem to be the Machinima one, so the thread might get deleted again. Either way it would be best to replace it with a version of the Tunnel video downloaded directly from the Accursed Farms site as soon as it's up.

We seem to be deviating from the topic of video game villains, people. Lets stick to the topic. I don't believe Dr Foetus has been mentioned yet, the villain from the Meat Boy games, kidnapper of Bandage Girl and whatnot.

He might have been referring to the fact that it was the files downloaded directly from Machinima and not this website I guess.

What's the news on the Civil Protection torrent now that the Tunnel is out?

Ah if only I fitted in to one of those categories....and could voice act....and had a decent microphone for that matter. Ah well, Freeman's Mind and Civil Protection are popular, I'm sure the right people will be found for the roles needed.

As long as no one posts any links to illegal software or hints at where to get it, discussing it is probably fine. I believe Valve are planning to release the Source Film Maker at some point anyway, and whilst it is possible to make stuff with the leaked version, I've heard it's very buggy and difficult to make good use of. In my opinion it's best to just wait for them to release it properly, for free.

I've heard of it but never played it. I believe it used to be a mod for Half-Life, but later developed in to its own proper game. Is it any good?

Ah true, that's a good point. Although I do get boxed copies of Steam games. It's nice to have them on my shelf.

I believe more expensive pieces of software, the professional kind, still use large boxes. Not for cheaper things though, I guess it's just not cost-effective. How does a hard drive dying affect a boxed copy of a game? Unless you're referring to installation limits of course...
