I've been using Avast! for some time and had no problems whatsoever. For a firewall I use Windows 7's own which seems to work fine. I've not had any trouble anyway and I've heard that it's a pretty decent firewall in its own right.

As others have said, the Black Mesa wiki and forum are excellent sources of information.

I already own Crysis, and I enjoyed it. Hopefully you two will as well.

I could always threaten the next people who post something without citing a source with some sort of inventive punishment. EDIT: A source anyone here can read/study I might add.

Ahh, but Notch has been speaking about a console version ( even though he is rubbish at coding games ). Seriously, the Minecraft modders are better at coding the game than he is -_- Go and try to program a better version of Minecraft from scratch. Then come back.

I'm out of ideas, I can only suggest contacting Steam support. The website is useful and in addition if you file a ticket you might get the advice needed to fix your problem. If you do, do post it as it sounds like a really frustrating issue. https://support.steampowered.com/

When you've got it downloaded to just those 0.3 mb remaining, go in to the Left 4 Dead 2 directory and delete a few random files, like the .exe, some sounds, whatever. Not too much, just a few things. Then right click on the game in your directory and verify game cache files like you've tried before. Does that work? EDIT: Also on an entirely unrelated note, where is your avatar from?

Are you running Windows? If so, are you running Steam on an with Administrator privileges? Otherwise this might cause issues because it doesn't have permission to write files to somewhere that it needs to.

Thanks, c'ptn obvious. It's not necessarily the obvious. The chart does not indicate whether or not the episode has been submitted to Machinima. Still, I expect this means we can hope to see the episode in the next week or two, which should be nice.

I really wish they'd brought this game out on PC. I would have purchased it. Instead they announced that they'd cancelled the PC version right near release.

Have you tried launching it with the tiny amount left? It might be lying to you about a small amount being left. I've seen it do that before.

Doesn't say 'deleted' says 'delete' but it is a fair point on the captions, so its a question of if its an editing error or a caption error. Just extracted the sound file, it's called 'carolyndeleted02.wav', and after listening to it on its own, it most certainly says 'Deleted'.

I think you misread his post... Basically all he was saying was to add a debate section, and move the debate threads into that section. He was suggesting to split the Free-For-All forum in to two sections, but a debate is not an argument, and the debate does not necessarily have to be scientific. Also, I know he said split it in to two, but he also wrote the poll title as though he was suggesting splitting it in to four. Anyway I suggested a refinement of his idea to two sub-forums of the Free-For-All forum rather than splitting the Free-For-All forum in to two different forums.
