I believe you get a license for Windows XP with Windows 7 Professional and above for 'Windows XP Mode' which is basically just a virtual machine running Windows XP. I was able to set this up with relatively little hassle on my PC and it didn't cost me anything (apart from the cost of upgrading Vista to 7). Hm, sound editing sounds interesting. I've used Audacity a bit for a few things, but nothing major or anything like that. Might be worth trying the test though...

The video isn't at a high enough resolution to be able to tell what it is (most likely an image glitch).

Isn;t that supposed to be the worst of the three? It was a perfectly fine game in my opinion. I've not played the original games but it certainly didn't feel like a dumb game whilst playing it. It also got fairly good reviews.

Super Meat Boy isn't old, but might run okay. For older games, there's Deus Ex, the old X-Wing series if you have those and are in to that sort of game (Tie Fighter, etc). Civilization 2 should be okay. I'm not really familiar with NVidia cards, would Far Cry run on that card?

The books weren't too bad and I enjoyed reading them, but I only saw a part of the first film before deciding I couldn't really stand watching it. >- The music was pretty good though.

I really enjoyed Thief: Deadly Shadows, it certainly wasn't a bad game, although perhaps it wasn't as good as the original two (I've not played them although I think I have them on my shelf somewhere...).

I've heard of this game before, and have been considering trying it out as what I've read about it seems fairly interesting.

Freeman's gone through the blackout bit and Black Mesa isn't out yet so that part isn't likely to happen I don't think.

Damned midges are everywhere. Also you can at least blacklist servers in TF2.

I've finally got around to joining the Accursed Farms steam group. Hopefully I'll be actually be around for the next round of TF2 chaos. Also disappointingly the group chat seems to be empty.
