  1. Is that legit? I thought that access to the pre-alpha came from pre-ordering at that people were illegally distributing it...
  2. I said nerfed, not removed!
  3. I find the concept for this game to be quite intriguing, but I'm unsure about spending my money on it yet. Achron for example looked like it had a great concept etc, but it's been utterly slated by reviewers...I was close to buying it.
  4. Did you read the Kotaku link I posted?
  5. I think it'll be interesting once a use is added for the XP you can collect.
  6. The preview image for that looks a little nuts.
  7. I'm confident that the collection of both the experimental weapons and things like the snarks will have suitably amusing reactions.
  8. On release TF2 had six official maps. True. But over time they realized that is too low of a number and now there are 49 maps officially in the game. My point is that for a game on-release, 9 multiplayer maps isn't unreasonably small at all.
  9. I heard that ID got really screwed over by driver issues that were not their fault. And his point is true, whilst the market for PC games is by no means small, I believe that there are a larger amount of console users out there than PC users. Also people might find these two articles interesting. The first explains the PC release issues: http://kotaku.com/5847761/why-was-the-pc-launch-of-rage-such-a-cluster The second is an older interview from June: http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/06/08/e3-2011-our-john-carmack-interview-covers-rage-the-pc-and-gamma-corrected-anti-aliasing/
  10. Those things are the Endermen, and they're pretty interesting. However they are apparently getting nerfed in 1.9 with regards to what they can pick up, as they became somewhat annoying...
  11. Best of luck to everyone, again.
  12. I'm assuming it would work in the same way IMG BBCode does, but for flash files...
  13. On release TF2 had six official maps.
  14. I reckon if Battlefield 3 sells well, we may see a Mirror's Edge sequel. The movement in Battlefield 3 definitely reminds me of Mirror's Edge. It was a very enjoyable game. I think it deserves a sequel. And it had some great music and visuals.
  15. Yes, that's the one! I'd forgotten about that avatar. Yeah it's definitely not staff specific.
  16. I think this would actually look pretty damn cool!
  17. I wasn't aware having a gif animation as an avatar was moderator specific, although I could be mistaken.
  18. I feel so ignored. I think it's simply that images in signatures are now disabled, and things are currently going to stay as they now are. EDIT: Rainbow Dash, please keep to the topic, thanks.
  19. Welcome to the team, Bill.
  20. The reasons behind the removal of images from signatures seem fine to me. Although I am sure it's possible to auto-limit the size of images added to signatures, I've seen it before. Anyway, that's a non-issue now.
  21. I have heard of this game before. It makes the GTA franchise look like some sort of child-friendly fruit simulator. In terms of the violence. And the attitude in general. From what I gather, it's nowhere near as good as the GTA games though. However I cannot comment from any experience as I have never played the game myself. But I've seen a fair few videos and remember the PC Gamer UK review from ages back...
  22. Noooo, I didn't make the graph! Even though I'm somehow ranked 19th on the members page, although I know I don't post enough. Either way, great charts, +rep ProHypster.
  23. I'm only in the open beta, where there are no vehicles. And only certain things seem to be destructible I'm afraid, ProHypster. I don't know if this will change for other maps or in the full game.
