WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO ADVENTURE GAMES?
Lord Sinister replied to Vince_Montego's topic in Gaming in general
I myself quite liked the adventure games created by Yahtzee. Play them in this order: http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/5days/ http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/7days/ http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/notes/ http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/6days/ -
Does God exist? (your opinion anyways.)

I think it's a sign you've both done all you can to persuade each other to your own side of the debate, that neither of you can be persuaded, and that it would be futile to continue. -

Just popping by to say lets avoid personal attacks on people in general. This thread is a contentious topic. Interpretations and opinions, they're all going to differ amongst everyone, and very few people are going to change them based on some discussion about them in a forum thread on the internet. This means there will always be conflict. The reasonable thing is to live with the fact that people think different things and have different opinions without letting it get to you. Whilst this is true, if you feel a post is a problem, report it. Don't try to backseat moderate as it can just cause further issues. On a final note regarding the dating stuff, here's a relevant article I found on the internet to stuff into this debate, its sources are cited at the end. It details the various different methods used, such as dating the area around the fossils rather than the fossils themselves. It's pretty clever stuff. Lets keep things civil, people. -
Just to say, the stream of bank account related conversation is worthy of another thread and shouldn't derailing this one. In terms of games I want, well...aside from the obvious Half-Life 3, I can't immediately think of anything...

GET HYPE FAGGOTS Hm, try not to overdo it.

Source Recorder jittering in Portal 2?

Do you have an example video you could upload to Youtube to demonstrate what you mean? It might help. -
My Civ 4 attempt to conquer the world

I don't remember history turning out quite like that... An interesting read though. Indeed! -
Not many I can immediately think of. A Steam version of Toxic Bunny if it gets Greenlit perhaps...

It's things like this that make me angry. It sounds like it could have potentially gotten a lot worse too if you'd stuck with them. A lucky escape I guess.

I keep getting this at random when browsing the site:

Happy New Year, everyone.

Accursed Farms Game of the Year 2013
Lord Sinister replied to Alyxx Thorne's topic in Gaming in general
There's a distinct lack of Spelunky there, so I voted for The Stanley Parable. -
Normally these games seem to predate me so I was amazed to see a game I'd played before! I remember playing this on an old Windows 3.1 computer we had. It was the DOS version though, with the glorious bleepy music that you briefly show.

The site logo seems to be having its width crushed to 171px when viewing the forum pages. Looks a bit odd.

Yes, a situation you have helped immensely by making a post here and nowhere else. swAdhHglBIU I'm not going to make a post somewhere else, because i have nothing worth while to say on those threads! If you have nothing worthwhile to post, don't post it. This being the most active topic is no excuse to derail it.

After some reading, it looks like a more involved/detailed version of FTL? I do like the look of how the physics will appear to work (especially like what was shown at the end of the teaser trailer). One to watch I think...

Missed one. One of the Russian ones posted in the MLP thread (Most recent page). Removed!

I've recently started playing this, quite possibly too much. I've been playing the free version during my lunchtimes at work, and the Steam version in the evenings at home. It's endlessly replayable, and there's still loads to discover, for me anyway. It is rather good.

As others have said, good luck with having a speedy recovery.

Just finished shredding the latest spam bot deposits.

Just report the bots and move along. Don't post remarks about the spam bot posts that appear in threads, as it just makes things confusing after the posts get eradicated.

Are you trying to upload the image yourself or are you trying to link to it from an external site?

Congratulations! That reward reminds me a little of a lava lamp, personally.

It was Greenlit a while ago, but now it seems Black Mesa is going to actually be sold on Steam, rather than just distributed for free. http://forums.blackmesasource.com/showthread.php?t=17088 There's a developer post further down though with a line that I find quite interesting: http://forums.blackmesasource.com/showpost.php?p=564023&postcount=11 I wonder if they're talking about Source 2. I can't think why they'd want to keep it a secret if they were using the engine version for DOTA2 or Portal 2, but you never know. I guess we'll have to wait and see on that one. Personally I'd be happy to pay for this on Steam.
