I liked the part where it was good... ...Which in retrospect was the whole damn thing. Excellent work, as usual.

I would've voted for T-Shirts, but it wasn't an option. Which is why I came back in time to tell you to stop what you're doing, to make T shirts. I want a shirt that says "EVERYONE IS CRAZY EXCEPT ME!!" Ok, back to the future, lots of stuff to do.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

The endings made the impossible happen. They made me never want to play Mass Effect ever again. The games were awesome, and I joined the group on Facebook petitioning for some sort of alternative ending or whatever. I know it may sound whiny, or childish, but the endings just ruined it for me. Of course that's just my opinion. It just seems so pointless now getting 100% for THIS. I'd pay for a better ending. (Tali and Shepherd happy ending)

Now available on Steam. I bought it and WOW. It really did the original justice, the graphics are phenomenal. Even for the source engine. The story was intriguing and a bit easier to follow and the guy did a wonderful job with the atmosphere. If you have no idea what I'm talking about check this out: http://dear-esther.com/?page_id=37 It was short, but that was to be expected. I would recommend it. Thoughts?

Check out this thread. Ahh, thank you. Works now.

So what does one use to play MKV files? Windows Media Player yells at me when I try to play the file.

So, as usual Valve has decided to postpone making Half Life 3 in favor of different games (Dota 2, Now Counter Strike: GO) which left me sort of wondering about the half life franchise itself. When Half Life (original) was released it revolutionized the game world with radical new features. Now, these features which once took the gaming world by surprise now are common features in every other game on the market. Obviously, it didn't stop there. Half Life 2 introduced the world famous Source Engine, voice synching, 3d cinematics, etc... However these too have become commonplace. The Source Engine is now horribly outdated, and surpassed in ease of use and graphical horsepower by other more convenient engines. This doesn't make the games they produced any less fun, don't misunderstand, however the Source Engine is simply showing its age. Think about Duke Nukem Forever, which got HORRIBLE reviews. If that game had been released 1 year after the release of Half Life 2 the reviews would have probably been phenomenal. The thing is gamers are expecting MORE from video games. They want better graphics, better online play, unlockables, achievements, etc... Looking at the running Half Life saga, the only new thing to be added so far is new story (not that I'm complaining, I love the Half Life story). There's been next to NO new weapon's updates, little graphics updates (Source Engine Ep2 still looks like the Source Engine, with bells and whistles). Which leads me to believe that Valve is either going to release Episode 3 with the same style as the previous episodes, which would result in mediocre reviews from game companies who expect more, or they need to revolutionize the Half Life series and perhaps ruin the series altogether with new gameplay. So maybe it's too late for Half Life 3 to be a world-shaking game release? Maybe Valve has actually missed a mark on a game?

How many timid you shit yourself during Dead Space?

I had no fear. I beat Amnesia: The Dark Descent in the dark with headphones on. I have no fear of any game anymore. *epic pose* -
I like how he is lamenting at something serious right before he plunges into the water. "Wait, why doesn't this room have any doors? Did I actually come in here the right way?" *turns around* "OH MY GOD I'M GONNA DI-" *splash* This is definitely one of the funniest moments in the entire series thus far.

Ah, yes. "Reapers" ಠ_ಠ

I also think that having it all come back, probably after something massively dangerous or unbelievable happens, as to incur his inner monologue's rant-phase.

I was looking up gmod rube goldberg machines and episode was linked in the side and I was all like "WUT 0.o?" and clicked on it and the rest is history. For those wondering about the gmod rube goldberg machines check this out:

Freeman Rejecting G-Man's Offer A Viable Option?
Mr. 13 replied to Pinkie Pie's topic in Freeman's Mind
I was kind of under the impression that he'd go, "Well now that Black Mesa is fucked I am in the market for a new job..." and just incoherently ramble in his head for about a minute or so and then choose to take the offer on these grounds. -
Does the idle animation for the MP5 annoy anyone else?

I hope the apocalypse isn't until at least December of 2011, so I can play Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

33 & 34 Green?! It's a sign of the apocalypse!
Mr. 13 replied to GameGodOfAll's topic in Freeman's Mind
I think they are happily ignoring all of it. Unfortunately, there's only so much they can ignore. There really is no way to filter out people bitching about the lack of Freeman's Mind from the people who have legitimate questions, concerns, offers, deals, and whatnot. People who are emailing to complain aren't going to title their emails as "I'm emailing you to complain about no Freeman's Mind". If it were me, I'd be titling it as "Information Leak on Skyrim! Read Quickly! Read Quickly!" Then the contents would be... "Where's Freeman's Mind you Asshats!" Point received, and they had no chance to ignore. I'm awesome. I don't know, EA seems to be pretty good at ignoring mass complaints. -
In all seriousness, this is a dire situation.

Congratulations, you just criticized a comedy series on not being serious enough. If you don't like it, don't watch it. /end thread -
When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons what the hell am I supposed to do with these?! Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day that he thought he could give CAVE JOHNSON lemons!! Do you know who I am!? I'm the man that's going to BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN... WITH LEMONS!!! I'm going to have my engineers make a combustible lemon so I can burn your house down!! For those of you testing the repulsion gel, please step down the hall to your left. For those who volunteered to be injected with praying mantis DNA we have some good news and some bad news. Bad news is we're postponing that test... indefinitely. Good news is we have a new test, Fighting And Army of Mantis Men. You can pick up a rifle at the desk and head down the hall to your right. You'll know when the test has started. -My 2 favorite parts from the game... or at least my 2 favorite Cave Johnson quotes...

I hope that is a Freudian slip. Actually they were selling 4GB sticks on sale on Newegg, so I went for 16GB because I could.

You can usually go to a grocery store or somewhere and tell them to save you any extras. Usually they'll do that for free rather than just throwing them away. Anything made of rubber, or a dense packed material that can disperse air will work because of the way sound waves vibrate through the air. Rubber pads, cardboard (maybe drink containers from McDonalds or somewhere), or some other type of material will be able to reduce sound. You really can't get 100% sound proof without actually doing work within the wall itself which I assume is out of your power. Here's a link with some cheap soundproofing techniques: http://www.ehow.com/how_7180272_sound_proof-room-cheap-price.html

I honestly couldn't bring myself to keep playing through ME1. Mass Effect 2 was amazing and I played through it like 5 times, but not ME1.

Did you know when NASA found out that pens don't work in zero gravity they spent 3/4 of a million dollars developing a pen that would work on the space shuttle. Do you know what the Russians did? They used pencils. Yes. I'm serious.
