I don't use the scattergun, I'm a much hated FaN user so heavies are a bad idea for me. The recoil also makes swarming a heavy nearly impossible and the FaN also doesn't have enough ammo to kill a heavy without reloading, so all over a bad idea with my loadout.

I'm not sure what you mean. You can only get strange weapons by un-crateing them or trading with someone. I have 4 my self (Boston Basher, Ambassador, Rocket Launcher and Minigun) but I never use the Boston Basher

For the worlds most popular game, association football sure doesn't have very many fans on the forum. As many others have said, I don't follow sports. (although I am in Taekwondo) So really, all I'm doing by posting in this thread is bumping it in hopes people that are interested see it and making sure you all know my mighty opinion.

I'm not a fan of Call of Duty as you probably know. But I've learned not to trash what other people like in hopes they do the same. CoD's success is likely due to it's simplicity much the same as Halo. Typically little tactics between players and a low skill requirement, which makes it a game more open to new and/or casual gamers, but still maintaining the feeling of a more demanding game. Contrary to what appears to be popular belief, I have little doubt that MW3 will still be more successful than Black Ops, and still more successful than BF3. BF3 has alienated itself from part of the PC market by trying to shove origin down it's throat and isn't the simple shooter that the majority of "casual" gamers are interested in or are aware of. The demand for an unoriginal, thoughtlessly simple to play but still fun nonetheless FPS will never die, almost assuring CoD's future. Note that all current military FPSs are unoriginal and in many cases thoughtlessly simple to play. This includes BF3, which in the end will still be a partially updated clone of BFBC2. The main differences between BF and CoD are: vehicles, classes, a larger requirement for teamwork and BF's slower pace. Otherwise they're similar. I'm not saying that Call of Duty players don't have any skill and that they're all casual gamers, but I am saying that the skill requirement is lower than some other games, which makes it an easy option for the hordes of terrible players. And that's my rant.

Just a request for something obvious here. Please don't post in the new Anti-brony thread. It got tiresome a while ago and most of the people that have or are likely to post in it are very opinionated so the whole logic and "actually watch the show before calling the show stupid or bad" thing probably won't work. I'm sure some people will never allow themselves to watch the show for reasons of insecurity or spite. So let people the reasonable people watch out of their own interest. Almost all of the users that played nice in the Call to arms thread are bronies now anyways. Trying to install Flightgear 2.4.0, the installer freezes as soon as the actual installation starts. I'm deleting my old flightgear directory which for some reason still contains 10 GB of files after I uninstalled it. I would really suggest flightgear to anyone with a computer powerful enough to handle it (It can be extremely taxing on your CPU). You must remember the scout is a team player, probably the best team player of the team (i wonder who will be the first to get this reference), he can capture points twice as fast, move way faster and now triple jump; he is priceless in most games. And if you think the scout cant score kills just try to flank the enemy team, if they dont see you coming they are as good as dead, also go to the next tf2 meetup and ask alphabetagamma to play with the scout and watch the infinite damage a Force-a-nature scout can do on a server with a small population Thanks . The scout is all about speed, high damage at close range. I never use the pistol because it's basically worthless (low accuracy low damage). I use the mad milk almost exclusively to avoid after burn damage (which will take out half your health if you use the sandman ) so attacking pyros close range is an option. And the sandman for melee which helps against both pyros and heavies (which you should almost never take on by yourself) and making an escape. Avoid heavies and soldier as best as possible (target support classes like the sniper and medic first), go through random routes, never run in a straight line and as idunno...somethingftw said, flanking, along with attacking enemies on their way to the frontline, is the most important part of scout strategy. Oh, and if you're running down a corridor and someone's chasing you almost no matter the class, run away for a bit then, best when you just turn a corner, turn around and ambush them at super close range. Gets 'em every time. EDIT: Forgot, I use the Force-A-Nature for primary. It's good for causing environmental damage, but in truth the scattergun is the best overall. The only reason I use the Force-A-Nature is because I renamed and re-descripted it to be about ponies http://www.tf2items.com/item/390027777
