*Looks at Log* "Time elapsed between uploading preview footage and receiving sound effects track back from sound editor: 672 Hours 19 Minutes" This explains a lot, How can we fix that?

XD This is a great one.

Why not have Freeman desire a Pan Galactic Gargleblaster? Or feel like having his brains smashed out with a large gold brick wrapped in a slice of lemon? To answer the OPs question: I predict a few guns, marines, a dam, helicopters, observational comedy, and awesomeness. Just a guess, gut feeling I suppose. Oh, And its 6X7=42. *COUGHS VERY LOUDLY* (because he doesn't know the onomatopoeia for that in English) My dear sir, have you ever read Douglas Adams? You know, the chap (deliberate, fake Britishness) that actually WROTE the novels? BEFORE the film was ever released (the film, in fact, was finished after his untimely death)? Did you presume a lack of mathematical ability on my part? I could go on, but since you impressed me with your accurate description of the Pan Galactic Gargleblaster, I won't. I suggest you double-check your mathematical skills as far as life, the universe and everything are concerned, though. In entirely unrelated forumings, still looking forward to the actual episode, confident in Ross' skill, and hoping that HE has, in fact, read the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. I still feel a non-obvious reference would be best (because that'll make me feel very good about myself). Yes I have read the Trilogy of Five, and yes I forgot about Fords excellent math liabilities. I haven't read it in a while, but the Gargleblaster stuck out in my mind, just from the sheer absurdity of it. And proving black is white and god doesn't exist.

That's his problem! He lost his towel! Probably would have kept that resonance cascade contained..

Though I don't agree with the video's implementation, I hate Machinima. It just takes a few things I like and slams it together with a whole bunch of other stuff that I hate. I can't subscribe to my favorite content producers, like Ross, because of all the extra crap. I just bookmarked this page and my problem was solved, but the issues I have with Machinima remain. Having a 7 second intro of Machinima's self-promotion ruin the general atmosphere of the real intro and following genius. Its like watching a movie on TV compared to watching one off DVD. Having ads plastered to it makes it less of a movie and more of a commercial of sorts just to bring more attention to other videos. I think Ross should just get his own channel. It would give him freedom to upload as he pleased(I recall him missing some deadlines or having them not publish it on the decided date) and would keep people who are just there to watch Modern Warfare 2 videos out. Nothing against liking videos of that variety, but the majority seem to be 12 year old kids whining about something. Okay, sorry for the enraged tangent I took there. Essentially It seems Machinima runs on other peoples content, causing a serious disadvantage to people who like a few of their content producers. I think that Ross should start his own channel, or some other means of distributing the videos, for the sake of the fans and possibly himself.

A question concerning Ross's attitude towards Freeman's Mind
Jusmar replied to MartinX's topic in Freeman's Mind
He deserves a break, but I do enjoy FM. CP to me seems more artful and full of "planned Comedy". I like it quite a bit. Its true Machinima(sp), not just a game recording with a very clever guy narrating. -
Being shot at in a suit which only has morphine for first aid would probably get you addicted fairly quickly.
-
"That's a new maze record!" "Really!?" "I have no idea we don't keep track of that kind of stuff" That was almost spot on with Cave's voice. Its kind of uncanny.. Wikipedia'd, It is the same guy. They knew what they were doing, I applaud you Farmers!

Talking about the original post here: Well, the rusted catwalks only had to deal with neurotoxin and some air. Black Mesa's catwalks had to deal with serious seismic event, Xen creatures destroying everything, zombies, crazy marines, dumb scientists, programmers having a rave, a strange man walking around in hard to reach places, and an incredibly jaded physicist in power armor with automatic weapons. Sounds like for all their flaws, Black Mesa sure knows how to build rather strong buildings. Though, the designers got a bit carried away with locked doors and labyrinthine floor plans.
-
Black Mesa's can instakill, and use any surface. Though Aperture has a black hole that is kept stable via cooling fans, and is restarted by 2 German stick grenades... Hmmm.
-
Aperture: Creating portals in our dimension. Mesa: Punching holes in space time to unleash a alien armada leading to the enslavement of humanity. Still, Mesa owns in the marketplace. Hmm.

If valve is developing a console I'd expect it to hit the market around late 2013. But then factor in good ol valve time, looks like march 20015. EDIT: I'm not sure what happened here, but I thought I made this 20015
-
Alrighty then, I guess my job is done. I'll need to go find that episode again. Is it the one with the programmers playing the stupid loud music?
-
Ross keep going, though the production times are close to valve time, the quality of the episodes are astounding. Watched from the start, its been worth it.
-
Wait a minute, I thought they did that already...

I know of a few other forums that give members who donate a special badge for their donation. Also, we could use badges for other stats. A few examples of this would be:total number of ratings (positive or negative), Number of Posts, how long you've been a member, and of course, how much you've given (notated by bronze, silver, gold, platinum) What do you guys think?

So is it cool if I rip the music off a 12 year old game? It was only on "sale" in a 40th Porsche anniversary edition, which was exclusive to only Germany. I haven't found any on Ebay, so its safe to say its not easy to obtain. If there is an interest in the soundtrack, I'll find a way to post it on here. Possibly in a Rar or zip.
-
I did have one, So I was eager to get a new one on here. If I recall he had some issues with the forums on here and it was a few weeks before he got it.

This is probably the best cinematic experience I have ever had. From the script to the excellent editing and rendering, it left me with a unique feeling of satisfaction and euphoria. It's premise is extremely exposing to the human condition. It dug deep into society and current issues and brought me an experience unmatched by any work. Ross, Please continue your cinematic excellence and always use this engine! 10/10 Civil Protection: A movie of unspeakable truth and a wholesome experience for all.

RoXxy, he deserves at least half of one.
-
An army of Ross(i?), Not bad idea. I'd Pay good money to see that.
-
I voted yes. If I recall a few episodes ago (November of last year) He was having issues making Machimima's upload deadlines causing more delay. If Ross gets his own channel it think it would be great. The proviso being that he needs to make it obvious that he will not be responding to comments/questions as he is busy. YouTubers have way too high of expectations when it comes to uploaders comments.
-
I choose Something Else, I would rather Ross get sleep/rest/break for mental stability rather than reply to emails or other stuff.
-
Honestly, I had no idea. It wasn't a typo, I must be thick or something.
