Okay, I've looked into it, and I've been recommended by people on PCmech To look into just using 1 matched set of RAM. Anyone familiar with G Skill?
-
Okay that's good to know. I've still got the case for the disk an all the codes and what not, so I think that'll be fine. Thank you very much.

I built a gaming PC a few years ago for Christmas and now It's beginning to show it's age through my GPU and RAM. If I were to change the amount of ram and model of GPU would Windows have a conniption about the change and void my license?

Nah, No problems! Thanks

On a scale of 1 to The Tunnel; How creepy is this...

Yeah, that was my goal 2 years ago. I managed to get by pretty well for $800.

I'm just hoping that Valve will count to 3 and all the games will overlap.

Awesome. Thanks for the breakdown. I've got a hairdryer of a GPU anyway. -
Western Digital Blue v. Green v. Black (hard drives)

Excellent, I may shop around a bit because $200 is a bit out of my price range for the XT. I did some checks on tom's hardware and I think I may go with the ST you recommended. How's the noise? -
Today I found my computer making the click of death. I will admit that I probably shouldn't have been salvaging old drives from computers from long ago, but to cut to the chase I need to find a replacement for about 2TB of storage. Money isn't exactly an issue, I just don't want to end up spending $300 on drives. I'm looking at Western Digital because my friends have had a lot of success with them in the past. The thing I'm stuck on is how their branding system works. I know they have a "Green" level which I assume is supposed to be a low power/ high volume option, a "black" which is all performance based, and a "blue" which is a mix of the two. My question is this: Is there that much of a difference between the blue and black that a price difference of $20 can be justified? I don't want to just be buying something for the label, I want to know how it handles. Sorry if this doesn't make very much sense, pneumonia, antibiotics, and anti-epilepsy meds don't work to well together.

Huh, I never assumed that. I kinda thought of it as a "Adjustment Bureau" type thing, where there's a team of shady guys moderating time. Time that good ol' Gordon exploded.

The whole sequence after the rocket launcher killed me. Damn good job!

Here's todays rant: We were doing practicing our show music in a small room called the "dungeon" We all were sweating profusely even though we were inside so I looked at the AC. me:"Mr.Director, the air conditioner is off" Director:" And?.. There are kids in Africa living in tents in 114 degree heat" We didn't turn on the air. I mean what the hell??!!! I understand that there are terrible conditions in third world nations, but isn't it kind of stupid that we have our own but don't use it? I really felt like saying: "how about we send it to the kids?" or "We aren't in Africa" I don't mean to come off as an mean person, but using some unfortunate children in Africa to justify us not using our AC makes me incredibly angry.

Angry eyes O_o 8/10 Not amazing, but not mediocre. Just good.
-
Well that sucks. I just have hyper-manipulative directors that say "Wow you really suck" just to make you angry and work more.

10/10 looks like a album cover! Nice!

Spend 3 months going to bed at 3 A.M and getting up at 10 Then suddenly band and you have to get up at 5:30. ARGH

That sucks man! I'm not quite familiar with what at "chart", "company front", or "gate move" I'm going to assume that a chart is a set of corrdinates based on yard lines and hashes while a gate move is a rotation of a block of marchers? Maybe a company front is a waht we call a "slide" where we move directly across the field. Our school does things a bit bass ackwards.

This ones about marching band. I'm in a excellent texas marching band (state champs!!!) and we have very high standards in marching and in music. I understand spending 4 hours in the morning working on technique and drill. I also can understand spending 4 hours working on show music for memorization. What can't understand is spending the 4 hours that should have been spent on the show music on learning our stand tunes like they were orchestral pieces. We seriously spent 3 and a half hours on the syncopated rhythm in Boogie Wonderland( at 0:33) For the musicality hearted its basically just all upbeats (and) an 1 downbeat (4). And we spent about 7 hours collectively working on a measure of our show that is completely irrelevant without the preceding and following measures. And that we have to stand the entire time, do stepouts (2 forward and backward marching steps) everytime we start a measure (pretty much 8 counts). So 8 counts at 160 BPM is a stepout sequence every 20 seconds. So 3 times per minute for 240 minutes gets up to about 720 stepout sequences with 4 steps each. 2880 steps times the .57 meter step size leads to about 1.6 km. Going nowhere. For no reason. This leads to me really enjoying the hour of crossfit, 3 hours of drill in the morning, and the 2.5 in the afternoon with wonderful weather such as 105 with no clouds. Still I'm sure it will all pay off in the end, it certainly has the past two years. Ah that's better.
