  1. ...Drugs. That's all I'm saying.
  2. I supply. Here ya go 1
  3. Here's some photos from High School. It's been a long time since I posted :3 (I graduated last year): And of course...
  4. Currently playing Pokémon X. The single player mode is easy as usual but the competititve battling is amazing and the game itself is beautiful looking, I suggest if you can give it a try! I don't usually enjoy RPGs too much but Pokémon is pretty cool.
  5. Hahaha that's great! Body language is still a little weird but it's so funny!
  6. Well Ross, I's pretty much safe to say you're being heard. Judge Throws Out $11 Million Award to Madden's Original Programmer
  7. Well, we won't exclude beer (and cider) and wine! And of the spirits - vodka is not the only one (although being one of the most misunderstood and misused ones) that exists - whiskey, gin, cognac/armagnac, bourbons, liqueuers, bitter vodkas, bitters, sake, to name but a few. Not to mention the myriad variations and different flavours of each one... If the main purpose of these drinks was getting drunk there would have been only two varieties - cheap (with a guaranteed hangover) and expensive. As for expanding conciousness - I personally stay with Science Fiction (to borrow from Arthur C Clarke) and music Cheers! P.S. Rum! I forgot about rum. How could I forget rum!? Arghhh! Shiver me timbers... Wow. Thanks for showing me my ignorance! Seriously, I didn't consider all that.. The Spirit I'm the most familiar with is absinthe and ironically, it has been used for centuries for consciousness expanding and artistic/philosophical inspiration... So, would you like to take the topic into a more specific drug question/theses/theme whatever?. Suggestions are appreciated.

  9. It kind of is... I love how the first track ressembles Master of Puppets, by Metallica, so much...
  10. Loved to see someone vote for the new Pokemon games, they're really awesome. But for game of the year in terms of relevance, I think GTA V bests it.
  11. Since J.C doesn't seem to be around I took the liberty of editing the topic title so more people see the giveaway .
  12. Id love to see a review on Mario is Missing, it was released for the NES, SNES AND DOS. It isnt obscure at all but its one of the lesser known mario games, and a rather singular one.
  13. I don't know if realism mode would fir the series. For the HL1 installement Ross even lowred the difficulty so enemies are a lot easier to kill. Ading extr difficulty, realism and complexity would turn Freeman's Mind into a more assault-oriented seies, or at least it would bump a lot that aspect. Half -Life 2 already provides a big change. Level design isn't as absourdly jhilarious as in the first Half-Life and having a heavier plot with heavier characters would already be a big shock. Although... I'd love to see a Freeman's Mind spinoff where all of that comes rue and Gordon takes a more serious and sharp persona, a bit like the Pirate Gordon but Serious-Combine killing-Assault ready-Blood thirsty Freeman. I can only imagine what 10-20 years of stasis could do to Freeman's mental stability
  14. When the bus is full and you pass a stop full of people: "SUUUUUUUUCKEEEERS!!!!! Hahaaaaa."
  15. Knowing Freeman, I'm sure he'll chose the room filled with Xen soldiers at the end..
  16. Artic Silver 5 is a classic, I bought a tube like 5 years ago and have applied to CPUs and GPUs and it ussually improves temperatures by 5 C degrees or more.
  17. Yeah, and it's free and adless! Gotta love Tyrian. It includes the jukebox! The only thing that's missing is the 5th chapter that's included in Tyrian 2000 :/
  18. I didn't have much to do today and I couldn't edit Grakiao's version of it so I made a translation from scratch. Here it is: ETERNAM Game Manual Translation *The Story Part* I've translated from english to spanish before and this is my first time doing it the other way around, I enabled commenting on the doc so if you want you can point any inconsistency or mistake. If this receives some good feedback, I may do a PDF version including the original artwork. It's pretty cool.
  19. *Entering Pompidou Center* ''Who designed this room? M.C Escher?''
  20. By the way, has anyone seen the Zelda game from the Phillips CDi? It uses similar animations for cutscenes and character dialogue, I found the similarity hilarious. ZKOzqw83RVo edit: I had embedded the wrong video, whoops! This is the one.
  21. You are so naive... I can definetely see that with tobacco and maybe even cannabis, it's flavor when smoked can vary wildly from one strain to the other, or depending on how itLs been treated. But alcohol? If we exclude beer and wine,I don't think that's the case. I've never seen someone try 7 kinds of vodka (and by the time they would be done, theyLd be pretty hammered) I don't see drugs as something idiotic. I can pretty much reuse your main reason for consuming argument. Most people do drugs to just get high, but there's so much more you can do,,, Consciousness expanding, introspective analysis with a different state of consciousness, the whole ''altered state of consciousness'' goes way beyond what normal perception can give you (or ''traditional'' psychoactives like tobacco or alcohol). And yes, pretty much all of that is obtaineable without drugs through intensive meditation and practice... But why would you walk 30 miles to the nearest gas station when there's a pump a kilometer away... (it's 3:41 am, excuse me for the lack of a better analogy). I can definetely see why people would take the other road but as an introduction to altered states of consciousness and what you can achieve with them, some drugs (specially the psychedelic kind) can be a tool of great use. What I consider stupid, unnecessary and idiotic is the way drugs are generally used nowadays and that can be traced to education, education being laced with groundless affirmations and medieval-like witch hunting except they're chasing the witch's potions instead of the witches themselves... Ancestral cultures all around the world have used psychoactives in shamanic ways (introspective exploration, self-healing of the mind and body, connecting with their beliefs etc..), that lead people to see drugs as powerful tools that should not be played with. (You'll never see a shaman administering ayahuasca brews to a bunch of people so they trip in the woods while they puke their guts out )
  22. I'm a native speaker and was thinking about doing the whole thing myself but I'll tackle the doc tomorrow. (: About the video, I love how the country of origin is specially emphasized. I feel Nyet III fits like a glove into the german stereotype and this one... well... The word bizarre in french is more used than in english and waaay more used than in spanish and it doesn't really carry that negative connotation, most of the time people use bizarre to refer to things that are weirdly rare or just odd and that adds interest to whatever is the subject of the word and I definitely feel that way about all the bizarre aspects of the game seen in the video, even if they seem idiotical in some cases, they just make me wanna explore and see what else I can find in there while playing the game. About the french revolution part, I don't really know but I think one of the later Assassin:s Creed games takes place around the time of the french revolution..; But yeah, maybe we'll see the era spring up in videogames like WWII,,, I'd definetely enjoy that. Imagine your history teacher recommending ''Revolution: Louis XVI's downfall'' ''Bloody Versailles". Mine recommended Rambo movies for the vietnam war.
  23. What's the legal-technical term for that many kills? I think it surpassed serial killer long ago...
  24. It's awfully relative as you said. Nazis thought erasing ''inferior'' ''races'' off the map was good and the allies were evil from trying to stop them. I think a hunter may be evil for hunting animals, the hunter may think he's saved us all the oxygen the animal was about to breathe and thus, he isn't evil. Now, what I consider as evil is any premeditated action that will directly or indirectly harm a living being unnecessarily. I would accept hunting if it were for survival, but ending the lifes of other beings... for a sport? I wouldn't consider it THAT evil if the hunter isn't conscious that he's killing another living being (no, I'm not talking about some blind hunter or anything like that). Let me see if I can explain myself better with an example: Someone murders another person to take it's belongings from them: For me this is evil, even in survivalist cases. But it's way more understandable than someone murdering someone just to feel good because of it. Also, people may be aware that someone dies when they murder them. What they usually don't acknowledge is the meaning of their action. Killing a person is ending it's life, everything that was, will and would have been, making their family and friends suffer the loss of a possible life mate, erasing someone off physical existence.. Taking the opportunity to live from someone and acknowledging what you're doing and still doing it seems to me like pure evil. Specially when it's done without being necessary. I appreciate life more than almost anything and in case that someone threatens my life, I'd be willing to kill them in order to save my life. I'd consider that action evil but not as evil as the guy trying to kill me just to feel good about himself or get a big adrenaline rush, he'd be like x10^3 evil. You explained well what evil is considered generally so I won't paraphrase that.
  25. _7TPcGksW5M This is Wax. He's a rapper from LA (a REAL rapper). And just like Eminem, he's white. I like his music a lot but I don't know a lot of rap, anyone care to tell me if you consider him good/bad?
