  1. It's very simple. Now you're thinking with portals.
  2. Thanks to Vapyrimid for embodying the voice of reason and not just internet trolling/insulting in that post. Fascist leaders exist everywhere, some african countries have it hard having these guys killing each other for control.. Which is what happens in the US with hitmen, cancer and fatally tragic accidents to important people. A change and revolution is much needed in the world, but not as one trail of thought erradicating the other but more like evolving out of the weaknesses of the global society as a whole, such as the monetary system or the corrupt forms of power that we currently use, keep people opressed and resources misspent. Think about it, Earth stops global economy for a century in order to concentrate resources on a single goal, such as space travel or erraditcating man-made ecological problems for future generations, as we realize we screwed up and reduced the amount of resources in a short ass time, compromising something in the near to mid future. We could have ships as big as the enterprise, because there wouldn't be ''cost concerns'', your ship wouldn't need to fit a budget, there's no rival company running against the clock and you for that funding, you're all together working for the same thing. A technological race, at the scale of WWs and Cold War, with the technology we have today, concentrated on a single project, would be probably mankind's biggest accomplishment. In the long run, in 1000 years, it could be crap, but it would represent the first step towards probably becoming a bigger species in the universe, rather to being so close to killing ourselves stockpiling more weapons that we can use bcuz 'murica n 'china n' blobal cntrol of ecnonomy n dollars n shit. So yeah, change is definetely needed.
  3. Being insane doesn't make you insane, BTG. You're just being paranoid.
  4. The forums aren't tricking you into thinking you can distinguish them apart from your real life, BTG. You're just being paranoid.
  5. This thread hasn't existed before and isn't buried under many pages. You're just being paranoid. Edit: Daniel's new thread was merged with the old one, because it's hilarious. And nobody has merged a topic in AF in a while http://www.accursedfarms.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=2995
  6. I was forced to do the same some months ago because of capacity issues.. came back to it and there are a shitton of new weapons and the meta is very changed it's weird but cool.. Should I close the topic?
  7. Hey I'm curious, why the special request? I could make the ones that are missing if no one else does, I scored 19/20 on my written french BAC :3
  8. Locked requested by OP. We should make an Utopia thread though..
  9. Is the server still up? I haven't fired up TF2 in a looong time.
  10. We could probably have clean, free, safe energy and food by now for everyone if some blokes during the past century hadn't spent all those resources trying to make the biggest boom or the deadliest poison. From there, you can take care of lots of other problems. Innovation has been there but the focus that's driven it is bullshit from the roots. That innovation doesn't make up for all the damage that's been done/will be done by it. Lack of war and an opressing system would drive innovation way further than our current system does. And with that, possibly progress. But we're too busy killing, suing and destroying ourselves.
  11. You know what I do not like about war? You, and hundreds, thousands of individuals born in the same land,, having a similar background and having even grow together are conducted to a battlefield to face some other hundred of individuals who are most likely just some other folks, born from the world into the system not by choice, being told what to do since day 1 and entering a schedule of mental programming long before you're even capable of awareness of your existence. You're told that the only way to survive is to follow the commands that you're given by the upper hand and any irregularity or distortion from the order will compromise your survival and that of those around you and your only chance and way to make it is to be a subordinate of a meaningless system engineered to benefit a few dozens at the cost of the lives of millions. And it is exactly the same thing that I hate about the mundate rutinary life that you war enthousiasts complain about. You're not fighting to secure the resources that will keep you and your family alive, healthy and happy, you fight for the interests of some faceless bankers who move the threads of the governments to extend the perpetuality of the dominance of their interests and doctrine on the world. War is and has been bullshit for quite some centuries now. That authentic struggle for survival is gone for us as a society, we can't almot even tell what it is from all these bureocratic bullshit concepts we have in our heads because of the status quo. Not only it is a waste of resources and land, even the victors end up scarred and changed forever, thousands of people lose their lives, projects and future accomplishments just by being driven into the warzone against their will. Granted some will be meaningless and some will be assholes but, can you imagine how much has our species lost because of meaningless BS like this? Alexandria's library or the Mayan cultures are nice examples. Now we know we've been set back thousands of years in technological advances because of war and self-centered bullshit interests that drive war and the system. War is bullshit and is bringing mankind down. We have so much damn potential. that's my take on it
  12. Considering where HL2 takes place, wouldn't surprise me if there where secret underground tunnels as there are in most ancient cities, Not very related to the vietnamese ones but.. it makes sense. There are lots of urban legends also regarding metro tunnels, with modern construction like the ones in the CP episode. Btw nice screenshot selection. That shot with Mike's gun badass.
  13. Maybe that's how that many HEV suited people ended up dead in Xen, imagine parties being thrown at the chamber of the last teleportator and some drunken scientists going and playing russian roullette on the reactor, or some sort of ''teamwork and bonding'' activity organized by the HR department in Xen, just to increase budget demand or something... That would explain a lot of what is seen down the road. These last episodes have been really memorable, specially the uplink duo. What comes is gonna be historic.
  14. c7YWHSAgbEw A bit of psytrance to move things up a bit.. Have you tasted Hass Avocados?
  15. You could interview the several 4chan members that threw Gabe a party at Valve HQ to reconstruct a bit of it or try to get the papers from town hall or something x) then all you need to add is headcrabs, spinguns and sledgehammers. And throwGabe somewhere in there.. like if he were your GladOS speaking to you through the internal intercom.
  16. I was a resident photographer in a club for 3 months and then kept on freelancing in the same thing without a fixed place or employer, it has gone well Right now I'm applying for a job at a multinational and seeing where that goes, mainly to afford photographic gear I need to upgrade/replace because what I make out of it isn't enough to keep my lifestyle and afford that in short term. After 8 months, it's been really interesting. You do get to know lots of interesting people and hear good stories, as well as see some minor shows from some intoxicated people at the later hours (not the violent kind though).
  17. RijB8wnJCN0 :t fits 12:45 am to me rigbt now.
  18. I'd approve of that if the corn it's made of was organic . Quite the liver load though. Here's a pic from this weekend. As you can see by the hair, it had been a long day.
  19. It looks like you won though
  20. It's been a while since I posted a picture.. This time it's a self-portrait done for fun @ home :3 It's from april but much hasn't changed
  21. It tells you a bit about your government's priorities. I agree, most sentences to small-medium dealers are way too unfair. Big capos and guys like that should get huge sentences, it's almost a fact that they have lots of heads on their count, so they may deserve those sentences, but the guy carrying an oz of his favorite ganjah? Nah, he shouldn't get 17 years.
  22. I think Gen III was the solidest generation to date, with an amazing new Region (Hoenn) and the awesome 1st gen remakes, plus the GameCube Spinoffs and stuff. Next, Gen 6 because it is freaking amazing. X and Y are the best Pokémon games to date, they seem like the perfect balance of old and new Pokémon, an awesome new region, the graphics are great and the dialogues and criminal team keep getting better with each generation. BTW Jake, that's a very handsome Dragonite. Guys, have you heard of PokemoN Showdown? It's an online battling simulator. It's great if you're interested in competitive battling
  23. I think the correct term for the man is ''humanist''.
  24. Is that a hint or just a theory? WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!?!?!?! Every now and then Freeman makes drug jokes, I imagine him coming out of a portal like ''Damn, that guard must have slipped some acid on me, there's a giant testicle with an insect as a hat over there'' or something like it.
  25. Well, we could have seen this coming. While its understandable that we all want to see Freeman's Mind finished (and at the same time NOT) your way of communicating your message is innadequate. I suggest a little more thinking about how you want people to receive your message, such a paranoid and negative tone isn't the best way to go if you want to cheer a content creator to finish his series in the best condition he can. Messages of this kind will not be tolerated again. This thread is now closed.
