Underworld Ascendant

This game definitely didn't live up to its kickstarter campaign. Still, if you go in not expecting much, it's still a valid successor to fantasy world simulator RPGs like Arx Fatalis and Thief. Just don't expect it to blow them out of the water any time soon.

 
Level design is pretty decent but the gameplay and entire structure of the game are rotten to the core.  To be fair though, they've patched it a bunch and I haven't played it since launch day.

I donated to the kickstarter since I'm a big fan of Ultima Underworld.  This doesn't even come close to living up to it.  Play an Arkane game instead.

 
So is this complete remake of the abyss with the maze of silas, the order of the crux ansata and the slasher of veils?
