Undertale!

I think a lot of you guys have at least heard of it, or played it. But if you haven't, its basically an RPG with VERY innovative and mind blowing mechanics (Well Not MIND BLOWING, but still pretty damn cool) added into it. Its one of the first games where it deserves a 10/10 on any review. I don't know if it will cater to those who never ever played an RPG before but the story is really good and the "combat" system is easy enough for anyone to understand.

So why am I talking about this on Accursed Farms Forum and not anywhere else like reddit or with my friends?

Warning Spoilers from "Freeman's Mind and Undertale" VERY VERY MINOR THO, LIKE ALMOST NONE

Gordon Freeman.

When I first started playing, I like the main character, Frisk. He never displays any emotions. So you, the player can always act out for him, JUST LIKE IN HALF LIFE. BAM BAM BAAAAM

So I always replaced characters with him like batman, harry potter, hitler, the usual lovable mainstream characters.

But the person I always act out when playing is Ross Scott's Gordon Freeman©

Well I have a hard time trying to act like Freeman cause I'm illiterate, so thats why I made this post. To talk about how Gordon Freeman would act out in Undertale. Will he be friendly or genocidal? Will he treat Papyrus the same way as he treats people in Black Mesa? Will he trust a talking flower?

This game is very fun. I played it the first time not realizing that there are multiple endings. Now that I know that, I'm not really sure I like it. I don't have the patience to go back and do the game again, but without killing, or only killing. I did a neutral run the first time because I just thought it was a normal game.

This game is great, but it doesn't deserve the worship it gets on some other websites.

 
If you play the genocide or pacifist route, you'll understand why people are up in arms over this game. The neutral route is the most mediocre route with the genocide route being the hardest. The pacifist route basically takes a page from gurren lagann and it has objectively the best ending.

It's an amazing game, very worthy of the praise it's getting. The game has gotten under my skin like no other game I've played and also kinda turns a lot of conventions on their heads.

 
I can't wait to see what Toby Fox comes up with next. The guy's only 24 but he's practically already made a name for himself just a month after his first game released.

 
I highly doubt it is his very first game, he's probably spent a long time making smaller projects to get experience.

But yeah, for his first published game it's amazing.
