One of the very rare instances of a good game out of a bad movie. done by the guys at WayForward, it's a pretty solid take on the metroidvania genre, while not memorable by any stretch of the imagination, it's a fun romp.

Good/Great: Solid Metroidvania in a cool setting and an interesting but undeveloped death mechanic.

A rarity in the game's industry: a good movie_licensed game.

I don't know how it relates to the god-awful movie it's based on, but it's a great Metroidvania by Way Forward. Maybe the closest thing we're gonna get to Castlevania.
