The Batman

[thebeelzebub]

What do you think of Christian Bale being the Batman. Who's your favorite Batman. Who do you think should play the Batman.

[thebeelzebub]

My favorite Batman is Michael Keaton.

[Kirkreng]

I don't even like batman to be honest. The only reason I think the Dark Knight is amazing is(and I know I am gonna sound really banwagonhopping here) because of Heath Ledgers performance.

[thebeelzebub]

Yeah, Heath Ledger was awesome. Oscar worthy--- hard to say.

I'm not a fan of The Batman but I enjoy all movies. Both, Tim Burton's and the new ones. I love Michael Keaton and Heath Ledger's Joker is the best villain ever. The music is bloody awesome in all movies.

(I even have "Why so serious" spray in TF2)

[Doom Shepherd]

I'm the goddamn Batman.

The George clooney was my favourite batman movies simply because it was made in an atmosphere that resembles a comic. The late 2000's Batman movies made a fantasy comic a serious movie, and I can't take comics serious... although the first Batman movie with the new actor seemed semi realistic the others had just too much stuff I noticed that was horribly unrealistic.

[Axeldeath]

I like the latest stuff and the Burton films... But Batman and Robin?

BLLLEEEEUGHHH.

[ProHypster]

I agree, Batman and Robin was weird, I like the older ones more.

I think you're missing the point of the Nolan films. His batman films are a lot like his movie Inception. They aren't supposed to be strictly realistic. They're set in a realistic world, with key elements shifted towards fantasy. The world and the characters form naturally around these changes and react in a realistic way towards the fantastical elements.

That's the point I don't like fantasy in a realistic world. I didn't like Spiderman either. I can like Realistic things in a fantasy world though like LOTR or Star wars or wizard of OZ but never the opposite...

Cinematographically the new batman movies are fine I guess.
