As far as I know, think Dota diet combined with very well done and balanced PvP with a large-ish metagame based around preferred perks and stat enhancements. It's also F2P, and damn fair about it as well. Absolutely anything that affects gameplay can be earned or bought, with only cosmetics requiring payment. And in the case of Products and Endorsements (The meta-game), you HAVE to earn them through Combat Credits earned by playing the game. You can buy boosts that increase your CC payout for a time, but you can't straight up buy power. That and even if you DID buy a bunch of top-tier Endorsements, you still have to reach a high enough rank to have enough slots to put them to good use.

The actual game is fun, where you basically have to escort your team's bots to the enemy team's Moneyball. After you take down the turrets that pepper the bot's path to there, they can take down the Moneyball's shield and leave it open to attack. If you don't attack the Moneyball after around 20 seconds, the shield goes back up (Which really should be "If bots don't reach the Moneyball after 20 seconds", but that's a different discussion). But there's a lot more going on within the game itself, such as gaining levels with which to apply to your Pro (player class) in order to make their abilities better, give them more health and speed, or increase attack damage. There's also power-ups that you can purchase within the level, which can increase your health regen, your speed, or give you Juice (Think Kritzkreig + Quick-Fix if you play TF2). There's also the Annihilator that first becomes available after 5 minutes, which costs $1000 to use but destroys all enemy bots on the field and does serious damage to enemy players (Possibly enough for a kill), and becomes available again 5 minutes after use.

You get the money to purchase those power-ups (As well as extra bots to give your team more offensive power) by killing enemy bots, killing enemy pros (Don't focus on that unless you play as a Commando), killing enemy turrets, shooting Bullseye/Juicebot, riding Chickey Cantor, and basically just doing stuff that helps the team. If you'd like for me to explain more, please say so. The beta has lost far too many players to newbies getting stomped by experienced players and them quitting due to not knowing what's happening.

Rather poor trailer (New one is coming after PAX):

I was a big fan of the original MNC, was in the like top 50 or so for a while, kinda sad it just wasn't possible to support it on the xbox like they can for the pc version. This new model really reminds me of League, ftp with cosmetic microtransactions and regular updates.

Afaik it is LoL-like it in store system and how it rotates which Pros are free. But according to people I've asked, it's unlike LoL in that the PvP (Or was it PvE?) isn't shit.
