Hey, as part of an additional side project I'm doing (there's purpose to all this stuff believe it or not), I could use some help from people. While I remember a lot myself, I wanted everyone to list as many GOOD machinima videos that they know of here. I don't mean stuff necessarily from Machinima.com, just machinima as a medium. The age doesn't matter, although I'm particularly interested in ones that don't have an absolute ton of views and may have gone overlooked before. It can be from any game engine. Thanks.

Hey,

You may know these as they were really popular back in the day. Xanatos made a Hitchcock tribute using the source engine, and then a sequel to it. TO who's seen hithcock movies, there are really interesting.

Here's the sequel:

ZWLzucirWs4

Of course, the original I'm Still Seeing Breen

Shelf Life (in 2 parts, follow the links on Yutube)

1NWB72My5_c

Vae Victis (in 5 parts)

w2nnM62MjJg

Reign of The Disruptors (and some other Ray Koefoed's music machinimas)

GQggd22ejJc

The old Mighty Crane and LitFuse machinimas (now can be found on Zach Scott's and LitFuseFilms' channels)

Notably:

There is a good one I remember but can't find - it's called "The L.A.S.T."...

Others:

(4 parts + 2 part "epilogue", unfinished. Actually, the "Epilogue" is the best part of the series)
Clear Skies trilogy - somewhat epic combination of Source and Eve Online.

- mixed engines, 1st person, quite unusual. Also look for "The Uprising, parts 1 and 2" (un-yet-finished)...
Non-Source:

- by LitFuseFilms, GoW in Unreal

- BF2

- BF2Double Kill

and

- Unreal

- WoW

I don't consider Sonic For Hire machinima. It's not made using a game engine and only uses sprites from other games.

Well thanks for the links so far, although if anyone has any lesser-seen ones especially, feel free to post them here.

Also it's worth mentioning that not counting my own stuff (since I can't really compare it), Shelf-Life is my personal all-time favorite machinima that I've seen. I emailed the authors about it back when it came out. Hopefully they'll finish it. A source engine project taking years to finish is not that unheard of.

Unfortunately I don't have a large repertoire of machinima related videos that I've seen... And most of the ones I do remember, I can't seem to find anymore. (most I found back in 2005, and they never were very popular)

Don't know how I forgot... A LOMAC machinima:

The first episode is good to watch for establishing the characters and story

The second episode is the best:

pD-K-LUTLps

There is also the episode 1.5 which shows a bit what Major Tom is up to...

Their website is here

Dr. Kleiner's Adventures in Science - Whole series was overlooked by machinima fanbase, but its a good series.

WE8Hh87Vh6g

Guy, Gal, and Villain - Only went two episodes, but was really excellently made shame it didn't last longer. Creators must of lost interest.

The Game Show - Pretty much same guys who did Sonic for Hire, started a funny character Crackhea. Its like watching a Two Best friends play, but I like it better.

Having searched and searched for "The Last" and not found it anymore anywhere on the Internets, I dug out my old DVD I've made with that and reuploaded it here:

One of the earliest and most elaborate HL2 machinimas in terms of character and plot development, if not in technical elements. About 40 minutes in length, it's worth a watch even though some scenes are just too long and static.

Yes, it's not a secret anymore, I was looking for videos that we can put up on Gorilla Gong. People can keep them coming, I'll check some of the picks out here.

Hey, I found this really cool Half-Life Machinima called 'Freeman's Mind'. It's a really unique kind of machinima because it's told from the perspective of the Freeman. Essentially, it's like an in-character walkthrough with really funny lines. It's made by some dude named Joss Crotch or something. Anyway, I'd definitely recommend you check it out.

To actually contribute something, I found this:

I don't really find it funny, but it seems a lot of work was put into it, so I'd say that calls for some recognition.
