There was already a New Years thread, but this one is for your resolutions

mine is to finally finish a story I have been working on for 2 years

Happy New Year guys!!

 
I'm going to see if I can spell silhouette without spellcheck.

PRAISE BE, I DID IT FIRST TRY

Other resolutions:

-Be the first Heavy Weapons Guy to get a headshot with a weapon in Team Fortress 2

-Come up with something kickass for a stag party for my brother who is getting married this spring

-Invent a word that I did not loan from Calvin & Hobbes (like "brunky").

-Absolve myself of masturbation

-Travel back in time and invent the Pipe Organ or remake the movie Apollo 13 in 1950.

-Assassinate the Prime Minister of Malaysia

-Become the Prime Minister of Malaysia

-Travel to another country that is not United States

-Type at least 200,000 words

-Finish my collection of Flight comics, Tintin Hardcovers and the Smith's Bone Saga.

-Eat a jellybean

-Yell at a pigeon

-Step on a pigeon

-Laugh at a dead pigeon

Sounds like fun.

 
I don't like to make sweeping resolutions that start at a definite point. I think slowly phasing in the most important things about yourself is the only way to actually change. That being said, I'd like to continue trying to put myself on the path to where I want to go. I want to go to university, I want a life. So I'm going to work for it.

 
i think this is the best resolution:

Nec Aspera Terrent, Amorem et Tolerantiae.

that means "Fear No Difficulties, Love and Tolerate"

 
Play TF2 for 1200 hours (Yeah, I spend far too much time on that game).

Reach 110 rep (or 120, but I'm not feeling excessively optimistic about that happening any time soon).

Maintain a 100 average in at least one of my classes.

 
adding a new personal objective: Finding the F(x) for the BG2 bullet drop. if i can figure that out, i might be able to find exactly all aiming points at all ranges, and then, bang, 500 yards away headshots!
