Judge Dredd v. Death

It's a short and simple, but reasonably fun shooter game. If you want the comic book Dredd feel, there's really no other option. I'd give it a 7/10, 6/10 if you don't care about the source material.

This game was fun as hell. I would have loved a free-form sandbox mode where you just walked around Mega City One busting punks and sending 'em to the cubes.

There's a good Judge Dredd game in the first couple levels but it digressed into overdone shooter tropes by the end.

Hopefully with Rebellion making the new TV show, and their more recent games getting good acclaim, they might revisit the property and do something neat with it.

It was fun enough to get me into the Judge Dredd comics. It's a fun little shooter, if you can handle the dated graphics.

I saw a video of a guy playing this game. The brief snippets I saw were enough to get me interested in the franchise as I wasn't familiar with the original comic or the movies. That and I'm a sucker for turn-of-the-millenium 3D dreamlike cyberpunk map design. The Messiah Game Dungeon is one of my all time favorites simply for how disorientating and hostile the game and premise is, it's like a fucked up dream, I love it.
