Iphone sound stopped working

Ok so the sound on my brand new iphone 4s just stopped working for no apparent reason, and I cant seem to find any solutions on the apple forums. It works for like 2 minutes with headphones and then the volume bar just disapears and there is no sound. Anyone know how to fix this?
