Inquisitor

Inquisitor is the best game I've ever played. It quite literally and unironically changed my life. Its atmosphere, soundtrack, graphics are absolutely superb. It's not for everyone though. You can screw up your character quite easily and have a horrible time.

 
It takes endurance to get into it, I guess. I was scarred off when I got attacked by bats in the beginning.
