Here's my top 5 PC exclusive titles.

1. Grim Fandango

2. The Longest Journey

3. Fallout 2

4. SiN

5. TRON 2.0

Top 5 multiplatform games that are also on PC:

1. Mass Effect

2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

3. Duke Nukem Forever

4. Deus Ex

5. Half-Life

Never played Half-Life 2 on the PC. *dodges tomatoes*. I played it many times on the Xbox 360. *dodges a knife*. Relax, it's my favorite video game.

If I played it on the PC, then I think it would be there, but as of now, I say that the greatest PC games are Halo: Combat Evolved and Team Fortress 2.

Well for me, to call a game the greatest is what leaves a bigger impact on you than any other game you've played. If I had to pick one, I'd probably go with Silent Hill 2. It may be only average or above average in terms of gameplay, but in terms of atmosphere, writing, themes, and thought-provoking content, I think it's incredible and makes it one of the most memorable games I've played. Here's the other 4 I'd have:

System Shock 2

Deus Ex

Sanitarium

Puzzle Agent (may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I found its content fantastic)

Runner-ups:

First half of Fahrenheit / Indigo Prophecy

Phantasmagoria 2 (people tend to have polarized views on this one)

Still Life

Legacy of Kain series

Well except for one or two exceptions, to me the acting didn't feel like B movie acting so much as how real people actually act. Co-workers making lame jokes at work with a shoddy delivery? That's what REAL co-workers do!

Too bad that Dorkly poll didn't include some older games. Star Control 2 would probably be number 3 for me.

Non-Dorkly my list would go-

System Shock 2

Deus Ex

Star Control 2: The Ur Quan Masters (the fan remake though)

Half Life 2

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

I think Skyrim in Nr2 its silly, takes away all the credibility of the chart. But of course, thats my opinion, and i really liked Skyrim.

Oh and one game that had a HUGE impact in me was Grim Fandango, along with Baldur's Gate 2, probably my favorites of all time.

Fuck yeah, Grim Fandango is one of the best PC games of all time imo. The graphics look good even today, way ahead of their time for 1998-1999. And the game just feels timeless all in all, because it doesn't rely too much on references to anything current.

People liking a game takes away the credibility of the chart? This is just PC gamers voting for what games they love the most, this is not made by a single person.

I know, but its a matter of hype, Skyrim is still a new game, and it was so hyped for over a year, its easy to track down all those votes...

Don't get me wrong, i really liked it, but it kind of loses objectivity when a game is so hyped.
