Favorite Genre?

Was wondering what genres everyone on the forum might prefer. Considering we're all valve fans, probably action shooters, but that illusion is bound to be broken.

Although I'm a die-hard valve fan, I still love a good rts.

Shooters. I play almost nothing else. I have a soft spot for sidescrollers though, I just wish they hadn't gone extinct in the mainstream world of gaming.

I have to go with adventure, especially action/adventure games. I also love shooters with adventure elements.

They doesn't has a storyline! That's why I don't like them.

And sports suck IRL, why would you want to do it in games?

Also if you really want to kick a ball so bad, you should go outside and do it.

Strategy, FPS and Third-person adventure. Turn-based games are my least favorite of all .

I love its story, but I really hate the waiting-for-your-turn-to attack thing. Kinda annoys me.

I got used to it rather quickly. But I prefer real time combat.

That's true. Oh, maybe we shouldn't include games such as Football Menager of FiFa.

I'll play just about anything (except RPGs... I despise RPGs and MMOs with the burning passion of a thousand suns...) but I mainly play shooters and action adventure games. Although, I guess games like STALKER can be considered RPGs it still has elements I enjoy such as shooting things in the face. When I say RPGs I dislike I mean the ones where you wander a grassy field until you are forced into a mind numbingly slow turn based battle. While I enjoy blasting the ever loving hell out of things I also enjoy a good adventure game (can you tell by my avatar? )
