Doesnt freeman hate pirates? he mentioned that after he got shot in the ear.

He said that he didn't want to look gay, but then again, not-gay sailors also have pierced ears...as do pirates, because they're sailors. And, just prior to the pirate episode, he mentions that he "should've been a pirate".
