The Brutal Doom mod coupled with Ross Scott's voice is a recipe for comedy. I'd love to see some more episodes, provided it doesn't delay FM too long. Anyone else wanna see this?

 
It's all great but the voice acting is super-rough on Ross's throat in Doom Guy's mind. I like it but I don't want to watch Ross walking around with a sore throat all day and barely talking after recording.

However... maybe one day he decides to make some continuation. Just not too long epiosde

Maybe he'll do one once in a greaaat while, that way he wont have to strain his throat too terribly.

How a man could naturally speak that way is beyond me..

 
Hell yeah but... just one episode. I honestly would feel sorry for him if he ended up sounding like that permanently... Or lost his voice entirely.

 
Yeah, that would be a heavy amount of processing to get it sounding that authentic, and in the end it would sound much

more fabricated with so many effects anyway. Nope, Ross just uses the pure old skill of his voice to become the Doom Guy.

 
Yeah I can imagine how rough just that episode had been on his throat. And we don't even see all the takes he had to do, so imagine that one episode times like... fifty. That's how much of a strain he has to put on his voice all at once. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Unless they were getting paid remarkably.

 
I voted "no" to this. This was the perfect amount of Doomguy for me. Any more would just become grating and tedious. Let's leave it where it is: perfection.

Don't worry. Years from now we'll be saying how much we need "Freeman Across the Universe" to actually start.

I'm making the assumption that people wanted more "DOOM guy's mind" when it first came out as well.

Personally I'd like to see a return of Cap'n Freeman, but that's probably not going to happen either. Likely it's about as rough on his throat as DOOM guy.

 
Doomguy's Mind was funny the first time. I think after a while, it'd just get old.

That said, I've been wanting to do my own Mind series using Doom 3, but I don't have any decent editing software.

Recording won't be a problem- I have a pretty decent microphone and I think Geforce Experience comes with a specialised recording suite. I'm not sure if I can do it in 720p, considering my monitor is an old 4:3 LCD and I'm using the original Doom 3 (with Sikkmod, HD textures and an improved shotgun) rather than BFG Edition.
