BattleZone 98 Redux

One of my top 10 all-time favorite games. The original game was sadly limited by the technology of the time, or it could've been great. FPS/RTS hybrids are few and far between, and this is the best of them. I really wish there was a completely new one with a better UI, and some RPG elements.

 
Actually, come to think of it... There aren't many reviews of this game that truly deal with its oddities... This would make an excellent Game Dungeon game.

 
This is a classic, and a classic that has been revived for modern systems at that!

Although, as counter intuitive as this may sound, I actually recommend playing at least some of the sequel (Battlezone: Combat Commander) first, as that game is actually a bit more user friendly than this one.

I would love to see Ross do a game dungeon on this someday though!

 
This is heavily nostalgic. I personally haven't played this new remake of it but i have had people who are quite critical of remakes, say it was great and quite enjoyable. Very much a strong emphasis on remaining true to what you remember about the first.
