Actually, I think it's cool, but some words are really funny.

Rage : party

No drama : same as 'no worries'

Mystery bag : a sausage

Cactus : dead, not functioning ("this bloody washing machine is cactus")

I should learn this slang at the first place. It's ripper!

Holy dooley! My Steam is cactus today. Good onya you haven't seen these errors I got. I feel like a fruit loop. I can't fix it and I'm bloody cranky for this :/

Well, there's a special australian slang type called greeklish, it's used primarily by greeks but some words can sometimes be heard in common slang.

Here are some of the words I know.

booti = boot

fritza = fridge

tsounga = chewing gum

boxaki = box

hebrega = hamburger

Maybe I should show you guys some bro-speak.

Solle - Person

Gee - Person

Bro - Person

Shana - Person

'Sup - hello

T'sup - hello

Jandals - Flip flops/ thongs/ whatever the hell you guys call them

Whare - Home

Boot - The trunk of your car

Adding the word -as to the end of a word to intensify it's meaning e.g. cool --> cool as

Sweet - Awesome

Smashed - Beat someone up

That's not NZ slang, that's just bro-speak. Mostly derivatives of Maori and Polynesian words. A lot of that Aussie slang is NZ slang as well.

*EDIT* Here's some NZ slang-

http://www.nz-immigration.co.nz/lifestyle/slang-words.html

I'll have you know that quite a few of those words are only used by rural's.
